The class doesn't cost too much if you get a discount, to be fair. But the stuff kids can learn is limited. The instructor gave tests once every 4-6 months and each time kids get a trophy and certificate. But I saw most kids doing the same routines at about the same skill level one test after another. At least my son stopped showing obvious progress after the first 3 months. The tests seemed just a means of keeping kids interested and we had to pay for the trophy and etc. After more than a year, my son wanted to quit. Here comes the worst part. Last tuition payment we made was for one full year (at a discount) at the beginning of the year. At first, the owners refused to refund us the rest of money. We had to contact them several times and after a couple of weeks, they reluctantly agreed to do that but with a catch. We had to pay not only regular tuition (without discount) for past classes, but also an extra 35% of the unused balance. In our case, this 35% means over $200! How many small kids can promise to learn something for a year and actually follow through? My son was only six and a half. This kind of cancellation policy is almost like a rip-off, not to say the hassle to get refund in the first place! I wouldn't recommend this wushu school to anyone.

Been training here since I was introduced by one of our Coach's "senior" students. The whole community has students dating back to atleast 10 years ago. It's nice to see how they come back to say hi to Coach once in a while. The training is fantastic with a patient Coach and his assistants. Techniques are constantly checked and most importantly discipline and morals are addressed. Our CMAT competition placements are also superb.

I have been with CWA for eight or nine years (lost track haha) and I must say, CWA has a VERY friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone at this school and no one ever feels alone. Coach Peter is a very friendly and fun-loving guy. This isn't to say he is a carefree coach however. He can be strict when he needs to be, and is always there to help people correct their forms and basics, and guide people in the right directions. He has been training Wushu since he was little and is very good at teaching as well as performing it. Definitely a well qualified coach. I very much recommend this school as it has a fun learning environment and to top it off, you get a good work out. Whether you are a child or an adult, this is the best place you could possibly go to to make some new friends while getting a good work out.

I've trained wushu here for a good five (almost six) years and it's been great. Not only do I keep in shape, but I've also made many friends and have learned to open up more. Since I started from the kid's class and grew up into the teens-adult's class, I've experienced both atmospheres. It's geared toward learning and perfecting your moves but also has a fun community. I definitely recommend this place for people of all ages to learn martial arts.

I strongly recommend this place in to anyone. Sure the equipment is more costly than I think reasonable, but the owner and staff clearly are in the biz because they love the sport and care about people (you). Everyone I know of who goes there feels the same.
