Paragon jiu jitsu has been so welcoming to me. The workouts and friendliness are enough to keep me coming back, but throw in the world class knowledge of Franjinha and Jonatus, and I was sold. If your looking for jiu jitsu and there is a paragon academy near you, give them a shot and I know you won't be disappointed!

this place has the best jujitsu around! For sure. Everyone is super cool. And it a very positive environment to go and forget about the stresses of the day with an awesome workout. I've never found a workout like this! My body was transformed. Not only is jujitsu a great workout, its a quick complex chess match on the mat. So it's a physics AND mental challenge unlike anything else I have ever done. If you are looking for the challenge of a lifetime, this is the place.

Tried Paragon for their free week trial and I had the best experience. Everyone is so professional and friendly, I was completely new to the sport and I feel motivated to start a new journey. The coaches guided me through class and gave me a quick tour of their school. Guarantee it to anyone who is completely new or someone who is currently practicing. Top notch!

I joined this gym almost 9 years ago after seeing an ad for 2 free weeks of kickboxing. I fell in love with kickboxing after the first class because I almost puked. I knew right then that if my body could get used to that I'd be in great shape. Forward 3 months I was in the best shape of my life and I was eager to try the BJJ as well since I had done wrestling in high school and knew BJJ would come more naturally to me since it was similar. Little did I know how much more trechnical, complex but fascinating BJJ would be. Especially authentic BJJ from Ricardo Franjinha Miller. It was love at first roll with BJJ. Out of all the martial arts I've ever practiced BJJ takes the cake by far. When I began this martial arts journey with Paragon I never really pictured myself competing in BJJ or kickboxing let alone an MMA fight. Forward 8.5 years later and I am 4-0 undefeated in amateur MMA. I've been to a couple of other gyms in SB since I began training at Paragon and none of them quite compared.

Our whole family loves being here at paragon! Our grandson does kids jujitsu with coach Pablo. Coach Pablo is a fantastic coach for young children. My wife and I train Muay Thai with Coach Stephen. We love the rigorous workout! Franjinha, Yuri, and his wonderful staff are always there to answer any questions and be supportive. I highly recommend anyone wanting to try self-defense, jujitsu, our Muay Thai to visit paragon!
