Shin's Family Martial Arts Center is Scam! Do not send your children to this place. I went there for the "childcare program" and hated it. I was constantly bullied by older kids and the instructors were not doing anything about it. Also, most of the time we sat in the activity room waiting for our parents to pick us up. All we did was watched TV and talk to other kids. There were a couple older kids (15 or 16 years old boy and girl), whom supposed to watch us and help us with homework. Instead, they sat by the door and kissed and hugged most of the time. When I told my parents about it, they pulled me out of the program.

This is by far the best after school/ martial arts studio in the valley! My kids love attending kick and flip and martial arts classes. They learned discipline, respect for others, and hard work while obtaining their orange belts. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and really genuinely care about the kids in developing their skills.

I trained at Shin’s when I first moved to US from Korea. Grand Master Shin made me feel so welcomed. He helped me make many friends because my English was not so good. I will never forget his kindness. And I will always appreciate his teachings and skills I learned in the martial arts.

My wife and kids love taking classes here. Signed up for their family program back in March. My wife has already lost 25 lbs and my kids can do some pretty amazing tricks like wall flips and flying armbars. Lol. It’s all they talk about at home now. Money well spent

I have been going to shins for a little more than 9 years. I even have my second degree black belt. I have absolutely loved it there and because of that my mom and brother take classes there as well. One of the many things I love about this place is that the rooms for classes are larger than a couple other studios I have been to. The bigger rooms make me feel less claustrophobic and more comfortable. I have never had any of the instructors be rude or mean to me. Even though the gym gets a little hot during the summer, the new huge fan makes it a lot cooler along with the huge swamp cooler. I am very pleased with my experience at Shins.
