If you ever want to try Martial Arts in an experienced, dedicated, and encourageing way, this is the place. Master Jay brings years and years of experience which is beyond amazing but yet he is gentle and encouraging in whatever stage you are in your journey. Great place for adults as well as kids. It feels like a family environment. No better place to start a journey of martial arts.

I never imagined that I would start taking martial arts at the age of 57 years old BUT I met Master Jay and several of the other instructors in December of 2017 and I was immediately moved by the level of respect that everybody in the room had for these gentlemen. Even more apparent was the respect that these gentlemen had for the OTHERS in the room, children and adults alike. I visited NEXTStep shortly after that Christmas and gathered some information and just observed what was going on in the studio. Again, the respect level for everyone in the studio was incredible and every single student looked like they were enjoying themselves during class. Shortly after my visit I started taking classes 3 times a week. NEXTStep has exceeded my expectations from the very first class that I took. The instructors are respectful, encouraging, and work incredibly well with all ages of kids. The adults and teens that are students are all great folks and made me feel right at home. You will hear the word "Family" often at NEXTStep and it is spot on. NEXTStep and the staff care.... a lot.

Wounderful staff! Everyone is especially good with younger children. They provide positive feedback and work on self discipline! I would recommend this to anyone with a child 3 or older.

Fantastic coaches and staff members. They take the time to get to know you, work with you, and always communicating all the time with you. I would say this is the best martial arts family I have ever been a part of. You will NOT be disappointed!
