Been here a ton, love the instructors, the instruction, the connection to Japanese martial history, and even Sensei Patterson who explains the language! They explain things in great, concise detail, and can expound upon it after class for half an hour.

Middle-aged dude here with zero martial arts experience, so take it for what it's worth, but I've been getting training here for the last month and I really love this place. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and understanding that I have no idea what the heck I am doing. I'm focusing on jujutsu (not BJJ) right now, but I can also take classes in aikido and iaido.
