Everyone here is so nice!! They all help you with things you don't understand, until you get it. If you are looking for a good martial arts studio, this is the one!!!!

Our entire family (My husband, 3 children, and myself) are all students of Hayme Serrato's Martial Arts studio (started in March 2015). The staff and instructors are not only excellently trained, they encourage the very best out of each and every student. Mr. Serrato is dedicated to the Tang So Do discipline and in order to insure that it is a good fit for anyone wanting to invest in the martial arts, his studio offers a deeply discounted first month of introduction classes where students are provided a uniform (to keep) and the opportunity to earn their white belts (Our family cost was $25 per student for a Spring Break introduction course… the uniform and belt alone are $40 if purchased separately). When a student chooses to continue on past that first month, every student is informed that the studio requires a commitment of 6 months (much like any other seasonal sport or personalized training regimen). The commitment is to insure that your spot and tailored experience is reserved and that your individual goals can be met (having an upfront commitment makes managing staffing requirements, studio time, and perhaps the extra classes needed to accommodate the number of people at various belt levels signed up at any given time, easier). In addition to the wonderful classes, our family (kids 14, 13, and 11) have made incredible friendships in the many unscheduled events (movie night, picnics, karate camps, tournaments, and birthday celebrations) that the studio goes out of its way to plan and host. Students learn so much more than a martial art in this studio… they learn respect for themselves and others, what it means to work towards a personal best, and a skill that is acquired ONLY through commitment, discipline, diligence and perseverance. Our family has been enriched exponentially beyond our monthly investment by Mr. Serrato and his team of Instructors in our lives. We highly recommend HSMA.
