Sifu Michael is great to learn from. He has lots of patience and teaches you at your pace. There are classes for all skill levels and times vary. I work afternoons and can still find time for a few classes a month.

I have been a student here for the last 8 months, and I love it! MTCI consists of a wonderful group of students and teachers in a warm and welcoming environment. The courses offered in Wu style T'ai Chi Ch'uan are challenging and exciting and well-worth the effort of focused training. T'ai Chi is a great workout both physically and mentally and just makes you feel good. MTCI trains the traditional martial applications of T'ai Chi, providing self-defense skills as well as promoting good health through energy-circulating exercises. Sifu Michael Ashmore is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in the many different forms as well as the history of Wu style T'ai Chi and is an enjoyable teacher to learn from. I definitely recommend MTCI for anyone interested in learning a martial art, or just looking for a healthy fitness activity. :o)
