Been a long time member since 2010! The gym environment is friendly and very welcoming from staff to members. Gym welcomes everyone from new inexperienced to pro fighters. I would recommend giving it a try if you are seeking a gym to train BJJ, Muaythai, Judo and MMA.

I've been going to Wand Fight Team since 2012. I was an overweight and timid person, I hated confrontation and always kept my head down. The day i finally entered the building i was honestly surprised how humble and nice everyone was. Coach Michael Costa is our Muay Thai coach. I fell in love with muay thai solemnly due to his philosophy and how he is as a person. He has pushed me to limits i never thought i can go. There was one night where i told him "I'm gonna be just like you coach." He's respond was "No, Ian you will be better." Those words would forever changed my life, corny as it may sound. I never really was interested in Jiu Jitsu because i was scared to do so. It wasn't until coach Michael said to me that i need a ground game. lol That's when i started with Sindney Silva it was brief, but i learned alot. Coach Ricardo Abreu and Coach Leandro Lorenco then became my BJJ coaches there after, but still i was hesitant and gave every excuse in the book to not go class. It wasn't until Coach Leandro kept asking why i wasn't going to class and i ran out of excuses, that i started. I grew to love Jiu Jitsu through Coach Leandro, he like Coach michael has put me in situations where it has taught me to persevere. There was a time i wanted to start competing in BJJ tournaments and i had to cut weight. I had a Jack in the box iced coffee in my car. I walked to my car after training with a note on my window stating "first step to weight cutting stop going to jack in the box" so now i am forever the Jack in the box guy. lol This is how caring and fun loving coach Leandro is. Michael Costa and Leandro Lorenco aren't just instructors of this gym, but mentors to everyone there. I've become a more honest to myself through their teachings in Martial Arts. They are forever will be my friends and mentors. ****OH BY THE WAY, YOU GET GREAT TRAINING TOO!!!** hahaha They say a good coach will change your game, but a great coach will change your life. I can personally say these two coaches has changed mine and i will be forever thankful.
