Jonathan started attending Chon Ji Academy immediately after we relocated from Florida. We were both seeking a much needed sense of belonging and I am so lucky I found this Gem in Teaneck. This was in the summer of 2015. He is now a red belt and still excited about learning, seeing his instructors and friends in class. We found so much more here. Family owned and everyone plays a role in teaching your child. Skills learned go beyond martial arts and will stay with him growing up. Accountability, self respect, confidence, control , goal setting and so much more. I am very thankful!

Chon-Ji Academy is absolutely incredible! I have been a student there for 2 months as part of their Krav Maga program and it was love at first class!! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and yet the classes are focused and intense, threaded with jokes and laughter. Master Casser and Mr. Miles are great instructors (and actors! 😉) and overall good people who inspire their students to do and be the best that they can. As a beginner I was instantly made to feel comfortable in the class and in my own abilities to learn new techniques for self defense. I hope to be a student here for a long time!!

Fantastic mixture of great class (Krav-maga), excellent teachers , good and practical techniques and super convenient timings. I'm half way through first level and I feel so confident when it comes to self-defense. Classes are fun and non-stop laughter during the class makes them more attractive. I would definitely recommend Krav-Maga to all my friends and relatives.

I had never heard of Krav Maga before so it all sounded very interesting. Then after the first class I decided to do it because it seems important to know how to defend yourself and it was so much fun. I like the atmosphere and everyone is very helpful and so nice. The combination of all these things made me decide to do it and it works out very well!

My son loves Chon-ji and so do I! He comes home from school eagerly awaiting 6:00! He has gained so much strength and coordination as well as self confidence. He feels amazing about himself! The trainers are fantastic and give so much support and encouragement to succeed!
