Javier is a super nice guy. Loves to teach. Top of his craft!

Prior to beginning my training at Diesel, I had virtually no experience in Jiu Jitsu. I had been putting off wanting to train Jiu Jitsu for roughly 10 years....yes, 10 years...so I finally walked into Diesel May 2017 and I'm hooked. I spoke with owner Javier and after speaking with him for less than 5 minutes I can tell that not only does he offer a vast wealth of knowledge to share, but he is a very kind, patient, and genuine person who seeks the best for his students. This goes for all who are a part of the team over at Diesel! Everyone is extremely helpful, patient, and most importantly accepting of a newbie like myself! Special shout out to Instructor Christopher Might. He also had part in facilitating my decision to train at Diesel! Thank you all!

Since I began training at the academy it's been an enlightening experience. I was a complete novice to any form of martial arts and everyone has been very welcoming. I'm grateful to have joined Javier Velez and the team at Diesel Training Grounds in this journey of learning the art of Jiu Jitsu. Only regret I have is not have walked into the academy a lot sooner.

Great place to train very humble students & instructor. It's my second home to train.

At Diesel Training Grounds you will find a family oriented place where you will learn legitimate techniques at YOUR PACE. The instructor is excellent at binging people along and helping them achieve their goals. Come as you are. All you have to do is show up! Jose -
