If your looking for Real World self defense without all the other BS, this is the place for you. The best Mix Martial Arts Academy I have ever been to in the last 35 years. The Professor Jesse Briggs Jujitsu lineage is amazing. Moreover the team at BAMMA ensures you get the personal touch, and they take the time to get it right.

This is the best MMA gym I've been to. This is the place to be in the area if you want fantastic striking and grappling training. The BJJ, striking, and MMA instruction is top notch. I feel like the price is very fair and I absolutely get my money's worth. Furthermore, there are a large amount and variety of training partners to choose from. The mats are cleaned everyday and the equipment is clean and serviceable. In response to Victor Johnson.. There are a couple black belts, a few brown belts, and plenty of the lower belts. I'm assuming you didn't come in to the free trial because if you had you would have known that the instructors are quality. The free trial has no commitment and is there for you to experience the school before you make any decisions. There are no pressure tactics and the way they do business is standard. If you don't like the trial then all you would leave with is top notch training for free.

As a new brand new student the first thing noticed after attending a few classes was the willingness of of both the instructors and students to better each other. Recognizing my lack of experience, everyone I worked with during classes takes their time ensuring that I have complete comprehension of the movements. Everyone is welcoming and kind and I never feel like I'm in over my head. The head instructor Jesse Briggs is very talented and is great at conveying his knowledge to the students. I commute from Horizon to the school, which is located on the far west side. That should tell you how content I am with my decision to train at Briggs Academy.

My daughter started jiu-jitsu here and I can honestly say that I would toot take my daughter anywhere else. Coach Briggs is phenomenal and is great with the kids in class. He incorporates basics, agility skills, and games so that the children can learn and have fun. He encourages kids to learn and congratulates them for doing things correctly. Coach is firm but not hard on the kids. Great place to learn and train.

My friend told me that the staff refuses to reveal its prices regardless of what you do. I didn't believe him, and since he is a very nice and indirect person, I assumed maybe he just didn't ask well enough (as ridiculous as it sounds for such a simple request). Surprisingly enough, I went and distressingly emphasized my desire to know what this place costs (since every other places indicates this knowledge and it is common practice and sense to do it when you're selling not only a service, but anything at all). I was very direct and serious, though respectful. Nonetheless, the staff expressed terrible unconformity at me asking that question and pleaded for me to try the "free classes" before they could tell me the prices - it was almost a robotic response. I am a very busy person and I just don't have the time to play such games, especially when there are so many options that are willing to reveal something as hilariously simple as how much they are charging. For me, as I am a serious and direct person (as I stated before) this takes away all the legitimacy that this dojo could uphold. Furthermore, I highly doubt there are certificated mentors that teach in this place, otherwise there would be no such secrecy. While I totally respect the other reviewers, notice how they only describe this place as "perfect for their kids." That's because parents typically are busy and desperately look for places to babysit their children - just my observation on what kind of customers this "dojo" caters to.
