Premier Martial Arts has been a well respected business in our community for many years and has served men, women and children of all ages with classes in physical fitness, self-defense, and martial arts. The facility is clean, well-kept, and organized. The leadership at Premier, specifically Todd Peters, has been interested and involved in the well being of our youth and our community. Years ago he worked with me to bring martial arts to children in an after school program and in doing so he introduced many kids to the self-discipline, physical activity and self-esteem building that martial arts can provide. Most of these children would never have had this opportunity if Mr. Peters and his staff had not brought it to them. Mr. Peters was not only interested in teaching martial arts - he also spoke with the parents and teachers of these students to make sure they were being responsible and respectful in other aspects of their lives. This facility does not only teach martial arts - they teach life skills and values such as responsibility and having respect for yourself and for others. This is not a fly by night operation - Premier Martial Arts is an established and respected business here in Newark with a business owner who lives in, and is invested in, our community. I wholeheartedly recommend Premier Martial Arts.

I can't say enough, amazing ways this establishment Shines. They take such pride in their teachings and dedication to not only their students but the community as a whole. They are constantly striving to improve in anyway, to ensure each person is getting the best for what they are signing up for. They are professional in every aspect and take such pride in their work and efforts to better the community by reaching out to all area schools and businesses. I am very grateful to have my son there for the past few years and will continue to have him attend.

I have had the priveledge to work with Premier Martial Arts over the past few years. And in working & observations I have drawn this conclusion. Because of Premier Martial Arts (Mr. Todd Peters) attention to detail in training techniques. I would without fail recommend him. His use of actual SIM Gun Training gives the student actual real life experience in Gun Defense. As an NRA Firearms Instructor I have personally tested not just Mr. Peters skills, but that of his students. And in my opinion base upon other martial arts instructors in New York State, his level of training for the student would be equal to studying under Bruce Lee himself.

We love Premier Martial Arts! The instructor and his assistant are both so wonderful with the kids. It’s amazing to watch the kids as they learn to focus and start to understand martial arts fundamentals. It has been amazing to see the little kids’ confidence and respect increase. Now that I’ve met the owner and instructor and gotten familiar with the dojo, I want to check out Cross Kick, too. I’ve heard really great things about it!

For the past two years, my daughter has been part of Premier Martial Arts, and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. While I had doubts that she would like it, she fell in love, and still loves it just as much two years later, as she did the first class she took. My daughter is learning valuable life skills, from an instructor that is there for her, he’s not just a body in front of a class, he takes the time with each kid to help them become better versions of themselves. The atmosphere is positive, and full of students, and parents who encourage and congratulate each other on every accomplishment, everyday.
