My son and I have been training at CNY Karate for about two years. The school was recommended to me by an instructor at another school, who previously was a student at CNY Karate. The teachers are top notch and genuinely care about the students' understanding. They are very welcoming to new students and are supportive, regardless of the student's skill level. I've found that you get out of karate what you put into it. If you are diligent, there is much to learn and this is an excellent school to learn from. I highly recommend CNY Karate.

Outstanding instruction in both traditional Okinawan karate and kobodo. There is not a better martial arts school in the central New York area!

I recently joined CNY Karate Women's Boot camp. This is a mix of cardio, weight training, basic karate techniques, and self-defense techniques. This type of karate is authentic from Okinawa, and many of the tools we use are traditional Okinawan training tools. Sensei works each of us hard, but at our own pace. This has been such a fun experience! We laugh while we are working out - this is the most fun and the time passes too quickly. Sensei keeps it new and interesting for every class. The dojo is immaculate with private spaces for men and women. The staff are extremely friendly. I have nothing but good things to say about this karate school. If you are considering joining a karate school - for any family member - consider CNY Karate and you will be impressed. Thank you.
