I have been studying at Nubreed Martial Arts Academy for the last year. The academy is clean and well kept. The academy has one of the most positive cultures that one can experience in an academic environment. Sifu Luigi and Sifu Alex are amazing teachers, and human beings. The head instructors are caring, patient and teach an incredible amount of detail. The students help each other out and are very considerate. The children’s program is also incredible. The curriculum is well organized and thorough. Success is built into all programs. Pedagogically, Nubreed Instructors employ an experiential learning approach, allowing students to directly observe, understand, perform and reflect on the curricular concepts that are presented in class. This pedagogical method breeds student confidence and self-reliance, resulting in independent learning. Nubreed is one of the most dynamic martial arts academies in the Tri-state area. I highly recommend it!

I have been training at Nubreed for almost two years now and it has been a great experience. Knowledgeable instructors who know the names of their students, take the time to show how to work the technique not just cram a bunch of useless techniques down your throat and they encourage you to get to know your classmates which brings a real sense of community to the overall training. I take my training seriously for both my personal life and for my professional life and it is always great to be able to have an instructor show me how to apply what I have learned from different hypothetical situations. If you're looking for a place to train and not feel like you're just another customer I encourage you to stop by.

Not all education is the same. It is all good. But there is a difference between a high school education and a doctorate. There is a difference between a community college and a university. Nubreed is a university level martial arts school. Everyone can enroll, but the education you will receive and the professors who will teach you are all of the highest standards. Nubreed has enriched my life not only with their practical martial arts techniques but also with their ability to inspire me and teach strategies for attacking life with a positive attitude. I have achieved so many of my life goals because of the instructors at Nubreed. Thank you!

The Sifus are highly experienced who have trained under Bruce Lee's protege and other masters and work directly with you. They and the other instructors are dedicated and know how to teach. The place is modern and very clean, and the higher rank students are always helpful to teach the lower ranks. There are no bullies or hard knocks. Everyone is treated like family.
