My daughter came here to practice sparring. She is a student at Tiger Lee Martial Arts and Master Kim is one of the best as well as Master Lee who teaches my daughter. Master Kim is wonderful with the kids and very professional, and his facility is very clean.

My family of 3 have been involved in Taekwondo for over 2 years now. After feeling that our help was going unnoticed, and our schooling was getting stagnant we decided to look around. After meeting Master J. Kim, we decided that we wanted to switch. After the first week of adapting to the difference in schools, we can clearly say that we like J. Tigers a lot! Not only are we leaving school feeling more energized, but we have been taught a deeper understanding of the kicks, and forms that have never been explained to us the past 2 years. Master Kim really does care about his students and it shows every day. Very humble, honest, and a great teacher!

As a former collegiate Taekwondo competitor and Kukkiwon black belt, I spent a LOT of time researching schools in which I could enroll my sons. After being trained and coached by a 3-time Korean national champion who was also born in, and trained in Seoul, South Korea, my standards were pretty high. I not only wanted my sons to learn the self discipline, self defense, and to gain confidence throughout the process... I also wanted them to learn the culture, respect, honor, and how to treat your elders with the utmost courtesy. After researching every training facility/school in Columbus and even enrolling my oldest son in one of them, we ended up walking away, disappointed. I thought I was just going to have to "settle" for a sub-par Taekwondo school when we received a notification via email (through the Dublin Chamber, if I remember correctly) that there was a new school opening up. It took ONE intro-class and I knew right away that Master Kim was who I wanted my sons to learn from. For anyone who is serious about wanting AUTHENTIC Taekwondo training, I honestly do not think there is ANYONE else in central Ohio who will deliver such an experience.

We just transferred to this school from Tiger Woo's, and it is fantastic! Master Kim is really nice, and the facility is much bigger than our previous school. Master Kim is also super nice, and he's working to correct our kicking/punching/etc. We are learning more advanced techniques, and the price is much better than before. On top of that, other skills that we had to pay for before to learn (Ie: gymnastics, nun chuck skills, etc) are all included here. On top of that, I feel much more appreciated here than I did at Tiger Woo's. Master Kim also offers an after school program that I think a lot of kids will benefit from, which includes helping with homework, reading, snack, and a class. They do winter and summer camps as well. They also attend a TON of tournaments, which is another reason why we are switching. Master Kim is also really understanding, while he pushes you to do your best, it feels a lot different than at Tiger Woo's. I feel like he is more compassionate. I have a lot of issues with my knees and feet (and balance) and instead of demanding that I kick as high as he wants me to, he has told me to take my time and learn how to perform the kick properly, and then we will work on height/power/etc. He's also very adamant about TAKING MY TIME when it comes to some of the drills. I don't feel rushed, and I feel like I'm getting more out of my training this way. Before, we were only planning on getting our black belts and being done with TaeKwonDo as a whole. It was really expensive, and I was planning on putting my daughter into Gymnastics after we were done. Now I feel like I don't have to do that. I can continue with my training, and gain more degrees in my black belt. The school is easier to get to as well. We aren't constantly sitting in traffic, and if traffic does occur, there is more than 1 way to get to the school. I feel like we made the right decision in moving.
