I've been taking martial arts classes here for about 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience. Sensei Mark is a great teacher because of all his experiences from life that he shares with his students. He teaches more than just karate but things to use in life outside of a fight. The class has a family feel to it. You are not made to be embarrassed but pushed to be better than who you were when you walked in

Have to say this school is great. I do all three classes. But love the karate class the most. The style that mark teaches is a unique an forward style of shorin ryu. Rusty is marks right hand man both of them are good hearted individuals an great teachers. Martial Arts is a way of life not a hobby. Peace and tranquility are a big thing that you get out of the art. A black belt was a white belt that never gave up. An I plane to have mine some day. An I'm grateful to have them as my teachers

I'm a 50+year old and felt the need to get out and move. I observed one class and was invited to try it. Karate was something I had done almost 30 years ago. I was very comfortable with Sensei Mark but even more impressed with the other students. Everybody made me feel welcome and very encouraging. Its only been a few weeks but I can already see a difference in my cardio and flexibility

Sensei Mark and Sensei Steve do an excellent job at teaching people of all ages. These great instructors will do a splendid job at teaching you karate and how to respect the people around you. You can learn many other things rather than karate, such as what it means to work hard and how it feels to accomplish a goal that you set for yourself on a daily basis.

Sensei Mark runs a great dojo. Open to new ideas, and really knows how to teach a Karate class. Also a great workout, would recommend
