We have been here for a year, and my sons absolutely love it. They are challenged in ways that compliment their skill levels. They have grown tremendously in their confidence. As a parent, I am amazed at how well the instructors relate to the students. They maintain high expectations, but relate to their students at a personal level. They seem to know exactly what each student is capable of, and push them just beyond their comfort zone. They are also tremendously accommodating of students with special needs...it's amazing how seamlessly such students are integrated into the rest of the class. Finally, I greatly appreciate their punctuality. Class starts right when they say it starts, and ends right when they say it ends.

My 6 year old daughter had trouble finding an interest after ballet, gymnastics, cheerleading, swimming, horseback, etc... We found kids karate and let me just tell you- she gets EXCITED for the days she gets to take her classes. The smile is on her face from the start of class until well into the evening. They are great with the children, keeping them interested in the activities while offering 30 minute classes- perfect for the attention span for that age group.

This place is a far better value than ANYTHING else we found on the East side. We like the fact that's it's a membership type where your child can attend as often as you would like as opposed to a set number of times a week. So some weeks we attend once and some week 3 times, which is perfect, depending on what else we have going on that week. The quality of the instructors that you get is amazing as well, given the price. The class size is fairly small, allowing for that extra attention. There are at least 3 teachers in in class, which beats anything i have seen anywhere else. My one complaint, which really has nothing to do with the quality of this center, is the small waiting area. Not much they can do about that, but it does get somewhat crowded, especially with one group coming out while the other group is trying to change into their uniform. But hey, really i shouldnt complain about anything given what i have seen at other martial arts centers. You wont be dissapointed.
