I give two stars due to Jeremy's generally positive attitude and the way he deals with kids. But, and this is an indictment on many martial arts schools, read the fine print carefully. The price to learn how to punch a bag is included in the "Basic" program. You get no visibility into the true program pricing to continue until you complete the basic program. Then you get slapped with a cost of tens of thousands of dollars to make it to black belt. And, if you turn it down it will cost you hundreds to cancel the remaining portion of the basic contract you signed. I'm wary of businesses that need to keep you as customers through contracts. I should have trusted my instincts here. This business may be for you, but, read carefully and make sure.

I took these classes for a while. My name is Jordan Neal, and I really loved taking classes here. I miss going there, and I plan on going back because it was a great experience.

If I told you that a man named “The Kung Fu Guy” could transform your family into a family that grows together, performs together, and communicates well with each other, would you believe me? If you took the time to get to know Jeremy Roadruck, you would firmly believe that claim. Jeremy has been involved in martial arts for over 17 years. Some of the tenants of his mission statement include: - Developing win/win relationships - Improving communication skills - Improving personal protection abilities Wonder how Jeremy got his start? Well he went straight to the top of the discipline he chose. After researching and investigating several different academies in the Dayton area, he found Grandmaster Meng a CHS graduate. Jeremy was a 20 year old factory worker that was addicted to anger & hated everything. Meng intrigued Jeremy by challenging him to try his program and see if he could prove that it didn’t work, 17 years later I’d say that it worked awesome!. When Jeremy started he could barely do a single push up and actually threw up at his very first class. He came back because he recognized that this was a place that he could really push himself, and that was what he was looking for. If you want to discover for yourself if you can prove “The Kung Fu Guy” wrong, stop by his gym located inside Club 51 at the corner of Springvalley and Route 48, behind Rite-Aid in Centerville. Make sure you tell him that Greg Fay sent ya ;)

I have known Sifu Jeremy for about a year and during one of our many conversations we started talking about his falling class for senior citizens. I was very intrigued by this discussion and his passion to help seniors learn to fall the proper way - minimizing injury. This class is very close to his heart as his mother had fallen several winters ago, hitting her head causing her to go into a coma for several weeks, then recovery... for the better part of 2 years. She will now always have limitations due to the damage that occurred from the fall. My parents - both seniors (78 and 80) were coming to visit from NC so I asked them if they would be interested in taking the class with me. It was my dad's fall just 2 weeks earlier that really struck the importance of this class to me. They were in! We met Jeremy at his school a week later and we learned how to fall...the RIGHT way. Jeremy is a very comforting and reassuring teacher to the seniors. Falling is a scary thing (even with a mat behind you, at 80). My parents had several physical limitations that Jeremy was able to work around. We were very impressed with the class. It seems the older people get the more run-ins they have with the ground. I highly recommend the class for any adult but especially the senior citizens. It could save your life!
