Great atmosphere that Coach Matt and Kendall have created! I highly recommend you check out this gym!

One of the best choices I ever made in my life was coming to Primate BJJ and giving Jiu Jitsu a try. I started out by trying the free week of classes and was immediately blown away. Matt is one of the greatest instructors you could ask for, his attention to detail and ability to explain technique is complete wizardry...And Not only is Matt a super friendly and great instructor but the entire Primate class is full of the best men and women you could find who are always encouraging and really bring out the best in everyone who trains there. I could go on an on about the great things about this gym and the encouraging environment but you should come see for yourself! A free week of classes is all you'll need to see how amazing this place really is!

Great place to train! The coach is very encouraging and takes the time to help everyone. The atmosphere is positive; everyone helps each other to get better. I'd never taken any kind of bjj classes before, so it was totally new to me, but I'm glad that didn't stop me from giving it a try. It's a great workout, and every time I go in I'm glad I made it in. That's a credit to the people who train there and the environment Coach Matt has created. Def worth trying a free week.

Can't say enough about this academy. Friendly environment, knowledgeable instructors, and a great person (Matt Vernon) leading the way. Additionally, Matt offers something most Jujitsu schools do not-early morning classes. For middle age guy with kids such as myself, this was the only time I had to train consistently. Come out and give it a try.

Matt, the head coach, provides great instruction and the reasoning behind each method. This place is for anyone trying to get into shape, start a new sport and/or learn self defense. Additionally, Primate has a great location and the facility is very clean. I highly recommend it.
