My daughter recently tested for her third degree black belt having been attending the school since she was 4 years old. The school caters to a range of age and skill by being encouraging and accommodating at the lower ranks and for younger children and grows progressively more challenging at the higher black belt ranks. I am especially impressed with the leadership and STORM (student role model) programs that teach skills that will serve the students well beyond the martial arts studio. And the owner and head instructor are extraordinary women role models for my daughter. I joined the adult classes during a Mothers Day promotion. I recently had knee surgery so I have to modify some of the exercises. The instructors are well aware of this and provide guidance on adaptations. The hour long class goes by quickly, while the instructors manage to work in strength and cardio workouts along with self defense and sparring skills with time to spare for stretching to work on flexibility. Having been a fitness instructor myself in a previous life, I highly recommend this practical, well rounded workout to anyone at any fitness level. The clientele range from preschool students to my hero, a man who earned his black belt in his 70's when he decided to work on his black belt in parallel with his granddaughter.

Great work out physically and for your mind. No where else at age 69 can you get to work one on one with your Grand child especially a Grand daughter. I always feel good about myself after each class. A perfect way to challenge your self.

Very professional and great with kids. My son is autistic and they knew exactly how to work with him. Will really recommend them with anyone who has a child with special needs.

A really good place to kids to be after school. In the past year, my grand kid has made a huge improvement on socializing and building self confidence. Before we picked ATA, we also had checked all other local Karate places, seemed like ATA is the only one without stink smell, it is much cleaner, very important for little kids too.

My husband & I have seen a huge improvement in our autistic son's behavior. He seems like a happier kid overall. The instructors are great and very patient. It has been a wonderful experience for my family.
