I've been taking grappling classes here for a long time now and would reccomend it to anyone. Friendly atmosphere and excellent pricing.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the price. Since it was recommended by a personal friend I figured I'd give it a try. The pace of the class is incredible and the attention to detail is just right. Mr. Brian Dressel and the other students treated me with respect from the moment I walked through the door, and I haven't felt out of place yet. I'd recommend Total Karate to anyone.

My four year old has been taking classes at Total Karate for the past four months. Everything about the studio and the teacher/owner has been amazing. First of all, it feels very family-like. Mr. Dressel knows all of the students and families in the studio, and he organizes monthly outings for all of the students (ice skating, swimming party, etc.). As for the karate, he is an excellent teacher and is very effective with the young children. He is very patient and takes the time to work with each student on an individual basis. In addition, there are usually two assistants at every class. My son is a very quiet and shy boy, but we have seen remarkable improvement over the past four months as his self-esteem continues to improve. Just this past week, he volunteered to demonstrate a side-kick in front of the entire class! This is very unlike my child. On top of everything else, it is extremely affordable at $35/month. After looking around the city, no one else was this affordable. I would not hesitate to enroll at Total Karate if you are looking for a studio (I will be starting in a couple of months!)
