I was visiting some friends in Austin and they invited me to train at their newly adopted BJJ gym. From the moment I arrived, Gabriel the Professor was welcoming along with all the students I trained with at the academy. The class was very informative with details on X guard and I had a great time learning. I was very impressed with this academy and whenever I'm in Austin I will be sure to visit here again!

Great teacher. Very friendly and patient. Makes sure you learn the technique. Great community with lots of friendly faces. Would recommend to newcomers and experienced people in the art!

The gym is new, super spacious, new mats, also has a lifting area. Noon and evening classes, all are welcome! Super tough training, everyone is super nice. The instructor Gabriel is truly a master of the art! Come give the gym a try, you won't regret it.

Outside of being a terrific person and coach, Gabriel is easily the highest level competitor in this region of the U.S. He's gone against the likes of the Mendes and Miyao bros and yet spends countless hours building up white belts and youth. I'm consistently shocked that I have access to someone like Gabriel and my Jiu-jitsu is improving by the day. They have a terrific youth program and the culture here is great. There's a good mix of men and women as well as a very diverse mix of culture and backgrounds. Whether you're thinking of joining the adult or youth program, I don't think there's better Jiu-jitsu in the region.

I have trained jiu-jitsu on and off for about 8 years. Recently I started training with Gabriel, and I have to say, he is the best instructor I've had. Not only is his technique impeccable, he takes time to point out important but easily overlooked details when he is teaching, and corrects fundamental problems. Gabriel also is genuinely excited about teaching jiu-jitsu and he shares his excitement with students. I haven't been this motivated to train in a long time. I also signed up my son after watching Gabriel teaching a few kids classes. He has a great time on the mats. I love this school.
