This is a great place to come learn Martial Arts. My son loves it here. Best Instructors and Masters. I chose Kicks because they are taught self defense, discipline and respect. They are not just learning to fight. My son is a better student and child because of this school.

This place is a belt factory. I will say that it's a good place for kids to start martial arts, very friendly environment and they have fun. But I quickly realized that I was being nickeled and dimed for every little thing, which bothered me. But, the kids were liking it, so I figured, what the heck. But it just kept getting worse. The kids aren't really learning tae kwon do. They go, and they do basically the same thing every time. When they upgrade to the next belt, it costs you a bundle, and the price increases every time. And what's worse, the students don't really need to know what they're doing. I've seen kids not be able to break the board, not know the form, etc., but then they still get their belt, plus...a trophy. A bigger trophy each time. This isn't a trophy that they've won in a tournament, or for beating another student, they just get them each time they upgrade, and like I said, if you show up and your parents write a check, you will upgrade. You are forced to buy sparring gear that costs around $120, then the monthly dues, and then they are always pushing a new uniform on you, or coming out with a new t-shirt design, and if the kids want to wear the t-shirt, it has to be the new one, not the one they bought 3 months ago!!! It took us a while, but we finally quit and went to a different place that is more serious. Nice people, but it's all about money money money, and they kids aren't challenged. They aren't learning tae kwon do; they aren't learning to fight. They have 10 year olds that are black belts. I mean, really?
