I was hesitant to start Jiu jitsu because I had no prior experience. I wasn't sure how people would treat a new comer and had a bit of anxiety about it. My first day at Jiu Jitsu Georgetown I felt a part of the family. The instructors treat you with respect and are always willing to answer a question. They are great teachers and I have already learned so much. The other members are all very solid people and are equally as helpful and respectful. Every day I look forward to going to class and learning something new. I highly recommend diving in and becoming a part of this family- my only regret is not starting sooner.

I joined Georgetown BJJ almost two months ago and have absolutely no regrets. I literally went from zero physical activity to training 2 to 3 times a week and only wish I could attend more often. Prior to signing up, I stopped by on two separate occasions and sat in the observation area they have setup near the front entrance. After witnessing how the instructors interacted with the students, and in turn the students treated each other, I felt almost obligated to join such a cohesive team. Each instructor I've had the privilege of learning from (and rolling with) have been extremely patient and thorough in explaining every technique demonstrated....again and again for those of us with bad memories and low coordination :). Thanks Chad, John and JJ for the countless hours you invest in every one of us on an almost daily basis!

The staff is friendly, easy to talk to and works with my son every step of the way. My son's confidence has grown throughout the two years he has trained with Georgetown BJJ. The instructors have encouraged him throughout classes and in tournaments to strive towards the next level. I appreciate everything they have done for us. Because of the great experience, we have enrolled our five year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! Thanks Georgetown BJJ!

I have been attending classes for just over a month and highly recommend people to come and try out the training. Bjj is a must have skillset in my opinion and I really appreciate the friendly vibe and instructive style. Great bonding opportunity between a father and kids.
