We are a military family. We found this Kukkiwon school to continue our 2 sons' testing. We thought it would be a good facility. They have done nothing but take our money. They degrade our children during classes and testing. And the $500 for black belt testing...we weren't done shelling out money, because you won't get your official certificate until you hand over another $100!! What a thief!! They degraded the children and embarrassed them. You would think with the extra cash the place would be cleaner. PLEASE DON'T EVER SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

First off not worth the cost. This place is extremely expensive. You start off paying only 40 bucks yes but that's only for 4 classes. After that it's over 100 a month! And I was not told the extra hidden cost either. Very disappointed in that. Paying the high cost monthly should cover that already. Oh and you have to sign a contract too let's not forget that one. Just ridiculous when there are so many places that do not require a contract! I feel like this place is just taking your money more than really focusing on teaching the child and I won't return again. The only positive note I can give you is they are nice really that's it. And the place really could use a deep clean not even sure if they clean the place because there is so much dirt and dust on everything that's displayed. I do not usually write reviews but I did not want anyone else falling for this scam.

School is in a great location and appeared to be a sutible training facility and excellent credentials. My children trained 4 years prior to arriving to texas and competed nationally. I felt this school would be great and signed a 3 year contract. I felt the prices were extemely high but figured they would pay off. In the long run they have not. They do not teach the proper Poomse techniques regulated by Kukkiwon. Student sparring sessions are limitted to 2-3 one min sparing matches on fridays and do not train at competition level unless you pay an additional $50.00 per class on saturdays. testing fees are expensive as well and if you persue your black belt degree it is a pretty hefty fee and is not registered through kukkiwon if you wish to ,you have to ask and it will be an additional $100.00 on top of the $500. you pay him for his black belt testing fee. The worse thing above all I personally do not agree with, he degrades his student and embarrasses them and makes fun of them when they make misstakes. It is a nice clean facility but lacks the quality training you would expect from the price. If you are considering this school please watch some classes along with the sparing sessions and speak with the instructor and parents discuss pricess and testing fees. and be patient with the head intructor/ owner he speaks with a heavy korean accent.

This is an excellent school with wonderful instruction. Master Lee and his staff of instructors are professionals. They run their school accordingly and provide the best learning enviornment for beginners or seasoned fighters. I would recommend this school to anyone.
