My two children attended for many years. They went from White belt to second and 3rd°Degree black belt. Some people have a natural ability to teach. Master Marr is one of those people.I Started out as a dad looking for a place for his five-year-old son to have some fun.am now a 5th° degree master.Given the opportunity I would do it all over again. Great family oriented place!

My son (9) has been a student of Master Daniel Marr for two years, and my daughter (6) & I started attending classes a few months back as well. Master Marr is an excellent instructor, very patient with both young kids and old folks like myself. It has been a great experience for my family and is helping to instill confidence, respect, and self reliance in my children. Highly recommend!

Our children have been attending the Traditional Tae Kwon Do Academy for over 5 years. They are now 1st and 2nd Dan's and plan to continue to study Tae Kwon Do through high school and college. We have utilized all aspects of the program to include the After School Program, the Summer Camps and the evening and weekend classes. Each one has been a great experience for us as well as our children. In addition to learning the fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do, our children absolutely loved all of the games and field trips involved with the Summer Camp and the After School program. If you are looking for an after school or summer program I highly recommend visiting this facility. The instructors are fantastic, we love the focus on integrity, self control and discipline.

We found Traditional Taekwondo of Helotes several years ago when we were desperately in need of a summer program. We picked it because I spoke with the owner and felt comfortable with him. My children had no experience with martial arts - we were just looking for daycare because the summer program we put the kids in the year before went out of business. Now, years later, we are grateful that this is where we ended up. Master Marr is so much more than just a taekwondo instructor. He is a mentor and a role model. I've listened to him talk to his class about character, hard work, discipline, and so many other things that children need to hear. He truly cares about the kids (and adults) he teaches. My son (7th grade now) doesn't like team sports so this gives him a sense of belonging and also helps him stay physically fit. I highly recommend his dojang whether you're in the market for a summer day camp or evening taekwondo classes.

I have been a student of Senior Master Daniel Marr for 17 years. His understanding and ability to communicate Chung Do-Kwan Tae Kwon-Do to anyone (from little 5 year olds to senior citizens) is nothing short of astonishing. You would be wise to check out his Dojang and try a free class.
