My wife and I (late 60s) and another couple (at least our age) went to see what their Krav Maga training was like. We had a ball! The instructor (Colt) was excellent, the pace was perfect, and we all learned a lot. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing training facility! I am in the adults jiu jitsu class and I love it! Our instructors Mr. Yaeger and the head Mr. Liles are very knowledgeable and friendly and I learn a lot! And to address the previous review yes the instructor is a blue belt in bjj but that is simply due to the fact that the jiu jitsu section is relatively new compared to the karate and other programs. Our instructors are very kind and helpful and I've trained at other places where certain instructors could be a little egotistical and rude but the ones at premiere are not, they are great! Some people can be quite sensitive even as adults but martial arts and jiu jitsu are there to of course train and learn but to also build confidence and strength! Anyways great place to go my little brother also does the kids karate which is loves and looks forward to every day!

The Facitlity Here is as to be expected I suppose, there is a slight malfunctioning with the smell from time to time. It is a gym though, so I guess that happens. First thing you will most certainly agree on is that the Instructor is a blue belt (draw your own conclusions). Next, I’m a pretty ADHD dude, but this guy seems to go off on tangents that can last up to 3 minutes multiple times during a session, he can’t seem to stay on track. Next, and this might be on some weird level just with me, maybe he picked me some how in his mind as his target but the jiujitsu coach, he’s a bit of a bully. 3-times he did something that rubbed me the wrong way, and he did it on purpose. In addition something I noticed is that whenever I free roll with the instructor he goes really hard on me, a white belt, and for some unperceivable reason, maybe it’s the way I look and he just wants to beat me up or something. Perhaps some psychological associations with someone from his past, I don’t know but he doesn’t go easy on me; I know that because he confirmed it when he one day professed, I paraphrase... “me and Shane we roll really quick and it can be rough.” I smiled or whatever, but really I should have said something. One time I get to the gym and I’m feeling great and I’m loosening up in front of the mirror, he walks past me and says oh whatever Shane like really loud and demeaningly. I’m not sure what that was about. It was weird.. Basically he doesn’t have to do that; sure I could have laughed it off, but I’m not going to reciprocate that kind of negativity. Once, during a routine, the coachwas “showing” me some maneuvers, suddenly he cranks my neck really hard and uncomfortable by surprise. I called him out for it this time; I said, “Jerk!”. he got really irritated and told me to never call him a jerk again! Gave me this frustrated speech about how he’s showing me this and that for my own good. I’m 29 years old, not 16, I know when someone’s being a jerk! Jerk! I’d like to make another point; thing is, and this may seem arbitrary, and it might infact be but... You see, he’s above average height 6’2 maybe 6’4. He goes on and on about how when he’s up against shorter people or when he’s in a fight he’s got so much of an advantage, height advantage. In Human Resources, they call that the height premium technical terminology. It had me thinking. You know what, that brings up a good point! he is tall! so maybe he’s actually not a good fit to be teaching average height populations. Wouldn’t it be more practical to learn from an average height person? The problem you’ll have with reading this is that the coach is a really nice guy, extremely nice, and has such a huge smile and comes across really cool and charismatic, and he is! However, what I’ve experienced, from getting to know him, is that he has a temper and a tendency to refract and say or do something really mean; it might not be his intentions, it might just be that he's overly confident because people generally are intimidated by tall people, and therefore he talks too much, giving him more opportunity to say something stupid. just a guess, but still its not cool. Now that I’ve got that off my chest; I’ll talk about something else. Recently they’ve made some pretty huge changes to both the schedule and the sportswear. All of a sudden I’ve been getting pressured into wearing new and more expensive Sports Wear after already paying for the one I bought. But it seems that the coach himself isn’t even wearing what is advertised, in addition he’s not on the case of others who are wearing third party brands. So I’m being punished for being the premier brand basically. And if you decide You don’t want to buy they want you to iron some trivial patch onto the one You have; that’s just going to make it look stupider; which defeats their entire purpose... someone isn’t thinking. It’s just a scam, I guess all those shopping mall style martial arts shops are.

My son attended for three years from age 10 to 12 until we moved. He enjoyed the skills he learned, and I enjoyed observing. The kids and adults that are members really express a love for the art. The parents' night out and holiday activities are also great. The cost was worth it to us.

I love PMA they are the best karate school ever! They are funny and nice but serious when they need to be. This is the greatest place ever.
