I had been looking for a martial arts "home" since joining the military in 2008. After checking out three other schools in the San Antonio area, I never found one that quite fit what I wanted. There were some good ones, to be sure, but not what I was looking for. I happened across one of Mr. Odoms' fights on TV and decided to check his school out. The Odoms family welcomed me with open arms. It was somewhere I felt comfortable being me. I could train in their Tae Kwon Do advanced classes although I had rank in a different style. The students were friendly, even those intimidating looking MMA fighters that everyone seems so scared of. I definitely enjoyed my time with the school and still keep in contact with students and instructors even though I am focusing my time in another direction nowadays.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! This is a facility where the owners have their own kids either at class or just running around the place just disturbing customers or the kids trying to take the class. On top of that those kids can freely bully on yours and it’s not only allowed by their parents (owners), but supported as they DO NOT instruct them to offer an apology to your kid if they threaten them feeling confident that they have a 300 lbs. ± tall dad to fight for them or an uneducated mother that will have no clue what to respect people is all about when you’re trying to enforce respect for your own family. No doubt that they will just want to take your money for just allowing all of them to treat you like their punching bag, in all the senses, where they can find an outlet for their personal life frustrations!!!

Don't know what the complaints r about. Both of my boys go to this school ages five and two and have learned way more than any gay karate class would teach. Odoms is great with my kids and made them have more confidence than ever. It's a fighting class not a daycare and teachers kids not to give up.
