I travel to VT yearly to ski, and discovered this gem 2 years ago. I've done a few drop in classes and the environment has been very welcoming. Oh, and then there's that amazing coach! Julio Fernandez is TRULY the definition of world class. Train with one of the true masters and legends of the sport. I will be back again in 2018!

My son and his friend attended your class for the first time today and I was blown away with you and your staff. My son has been expressing an interest in martial arts for some time. I have been hesitant to enroll him in any classes out of fear that it may further spawn the aggression inherent in a four year old boy with a younger brother. I have also been interested in attending some form of martial arts instruction for some time. My current profession carries the constant risk of confrontation and I lack confidence that I will prevail in such an encounter. I do not revel in, nor seek out confrontation in any way, i only wish to be more confident in my ability to prevail an adversarial encounter. On multiple occasions from different sources I have been directed to your school. From people dedicated to martial arts to those with only a casual or recreational interest; everyone I have encountered has had nothing but the highest of praise for you and your school. Today I experienced it first hand, for the first time. I was immediately surprised to see that it was you and not an instructor cadre teaching the class. I was further blown away by the fact that someone that had reached the highest level in your sport was personally instructing a first time student at four years of age. Your dedication to each and every one of your students was clearly visible to everyone in attendance. You took the time to make each of your students, from the most experienced to the newest member, feel good about their accomplishments and progression. I also found it refreshing that you held your students accountable to the expectations set before them and reminded them that there were consequences for their actions. I believe that your class and the philosophies that it professes are critical in this day and age. My son and I are both ecstatic to attend your class next week!

Great BJJ school. Whether you are looking for a place to train or visiting from out of town, this place has a good atmosphere and is a great place to train. I look forward to going back next time I'm in town.
