The LAB Mixed Martial Arts Academy has the most comprehensive programs in the area. They offer Mixed Martial Arts classes along with Cardio Kickboxing, Women's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and co-ed Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I had the opportunity to take the Mixed Martial Arts classes along with the Cardio Kickboxing and Women's Jiu-Jitsu (LAB Ladies program). The instructors are highly skilled, knowledgeable, helpful, patient, kind, and aim to be amazing mentors. They sell uniforms and equipment on site. They will also assist you with finding anything else that you may need that they do not offer. The owners, Rita & Chad LeBrun, are wonderful mentors and team leaders, work hard to give back to the community, will challenge you to do things that you never imagined that you could do, and provide you with a family-like atmosphere for life. They also hold trainings, seminars, and events where other well known martial artists (like the one owner, Professor Chad LeBrun, who was an undefeated professional MMA fighter, World Sport Jiu-Jitsu Champion, and a Pan American games medalist) are invited out to enhance your martial arts skills even more. It was rumored that he plans to invite Rigan Machado to visit his school and maybe even offer a training (look him up if you are unfamiliar). He had Leo Dalla Costa out when I was there. Professor Chad LeBrun also has a 2nd business called 3 Range Combatives where he teaches a self defense system/comprehensive program that saves law enforcement, such as, the DEA, FBI, and Border Patrol in addition to military personnel amongst others. This in itself makes The LAB MMA the best martial arts school in the area along with the couple that runs it. Unfortunately, I had to move out of state due to work so I was unable to continue at this fantastic martial arts school and lost an amazing community to be part of. Please contact them/give them a try. Best decision that I ever made fitness wise. You will not regret it.

Rita and Chad are down to earth and know how to create a positive, motivating culture that makes you push yourself! The coaches are knowledgeable and they know how to push you to work harder. You will gladly give your all! The Lab is for everyone, no matter your age, experience or goals! It’s almost been a year since I walked into The Lab. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

My two sons (10 and 12) and I train here and we absolutely love it! The coaches are top notch and really go the extra mile to make sure you get the individual attention you need to move forward in your martial arts journey. I can’t recommend the Lab enough.

I started training at the lab a year and a half ago as a way to get out of the house and be more active. What I found when I started was a wonderful martial art taught by great instructors and a friendly atmosphere. I have met people at the lab that I am proud to call my friends. I always look forward to coming to the lab and getting some good training.

My son has been training at the Lab for over 7 years and we wouldn’t ever consider going anywhere else! The instructors and the training are top notch!! If you want to learn from the best, the LAB is the place to be!
