Mr Abbott is an amazing instructor. I have an adult son with special needs (but is higher functioning), who is absolutely thriving in Taekwondo (he has been attending his classes for quite a while). Mr. Abbott and the other teachers go above and beyond in all that they do. They are not in it for the money (Though its worth every penny), but to see people succeed.

Roanoke Taekwondo America is an awesome place for your children interested in learning martial arts. My children have been with Mr. Abbott and his instructors for nearly a year now and I see no end anytime soon. My boys love going to class. The schedule is set up to accommodate even the busiest of families. The classes are unlimited and cardio is even offered for those not really interested in the arts. Another perk is parents of enrolled students get to train for free! If you're looking for a professional, family-friendly environment, Roanoke Taekwondo America is the place for you! Everybody is encouraged to come check it out! Feel free to even sit in during class if you're still unsure. I promise you won't be disappointed!

My son has been involved with Mr. Abbott's Taekwondo in one way or another since he was barely 4 years old...he is now 8. He started out in Little Dragons. He has also participated in summer camps for two summers now and, in his words, they "are the coolest camps of all!!" He LOVES going to class and it is the only place we go that he grabs his stuff and jumps right in the car with no distractions! The kids work hard but have fun doing it. Mr. Abbott and every one of his instructors are great with kids and have fun as well. A great place for families!

Roanoke Taekwondo America has something for my entire family - skilled training, cardio workouts, opportunities for leadership, growth in our self-confidence, and friends. The family-friendly atmosphere and superb staff make this one of our family's favorite places to be.

We are new (AGAIN) with this School. Was part of the Family when the Lacy's were in town! My nephew and Son both were students. Now my 16 year old daughter is a current yellow belt. I am sure the 5th Star can be earned as the Quality of the staff is wonderful. This program has so many benefits that one has to join and stay a while to determine what fits best for their child or adult! Socially, heath etc are all good reason to be a part of this Group. Then self confidence etc is obviously helpful too at this Age. It is and will be a good learning and health experience for all !
