For those who want to complain, first you need to understand that martial arts training is not for everyone. It is not FREE. It is not a place to come and think just because you have seen some martial arts movies, that`s how it goes, and you can tell the instructor how to teach your child. The instructor has the right to refuse you service, or terminate your agreement if he or she chooses. So if you want to come on here and try to make this business look bad, you need to look in the mirror. Be an adult and accept that you were not a good fit for that studio. You have the right to move on. I have been knowing Kyoshi Rivas for many years, and he has always been very professional, teaches very good quality martial arts that you can not put a price on. I have referred many people to his studio, and I think Suffolk is proud to have his studio as an asset to the city. With the knowledge of Kyoshi Rivas, any person that he accepts as a student they should be honored to have the opportunity to train with this great master of the martial arts.

Carlos Rivas is a very professional person and a dedicated teacher. He is a good judge of character and how to develop character in students. He is always a gentleman and I highly recommend his Dojo.

I have known Kyoshi Rivas for over 30 years and have studied Karate with him. He is one of the best Karate Masters in the area. He is excellent with adults and children and wants them to succeed not in only in Karate but in all aspects of their life. If you are looking for a passionate instructor Kyoshi Rivas is the one!!!

I called the owner three times for call to be returned. To acquire about the two free weeks of karate as indicated on flyer banner for two free weeks of karate. The banner sign was outside my local store I go to. My children wanted to be in karate. The call was not returned so me and my spouse considered this false advertisement. Lets just say we decided to go with another karate studio.
