Very disappointed in Two Dragons called for info about why my acct was charged before the end of my contract since they allow vacation time and extend it to meet peoples lives. We had a family emergency and only went for 5 months we did submit our “vacation forms” the most current with a return date in Jan 2018, now that I asked why funds were taken before new membership payments to my knowledge were to be taken. Mr. Perry said he would give a refund for the one charge and that since I was upset but not mean or intentionally disrespectful to any staff (he said I was) my children are no longer allowed to finish their lessons for what was already paid and we also didn’t receive all the belts for the kids or testing dates. All I wanted in resolution was answers and to continue my children’s membership for the amount of time remaining, this was denied and I was told to sue him if I wanted a refund for the other missed months, which was 5 months two of those missed were on me since I didn’t file the form. So I am very disappointed that integrity, honor and respect that Mr. Perry is always stating he follows was not used when a reasonable request was made by a client who had already paid in full for everything including all belt tests with all additional fees, especially since at the beginning this was acceptable, since I knew my kids would miss at least the summer. This exchange was all about his pocket not the kids or how to work with the families who had extenuating circumstances. Honor, integrity, respect and truth should be given as equal as received it was not in this instance. Good luck if you choose Two Dragons Karate for your Dojo.

I have had multiple conversations with the owner (who come across pretty narcissistic), and was told both times that in order for my children to participate in their programs I would need my husband to come sign the paperwork (as my consent was not sufficient alone). When I asked him about it, I was told that it was the same as buying a car. I own my own car, and my husband never had to sign anything for it. He mentioned that he wanted to make sure that both my husband and I were on the same page about the program, and while that is a great goal for parents, it's none of his business if we are or not and it's certainly not his right to police that. I am a legal guardian of my children and that alone gives me the right to make decisions for them, with or without my husband. We will never put our money towards a business that has such out-dated policies. My kids were also told that he could guarantee he'd be able to teach them how to "spot the bad guys." He's obviously not current on research about children and abuse/abductions. Stranger Danger is not what we need to teach, unsafe people (which very often are people they know) is a far better policy. Good vs bad is a very simplified view of the world too. People are complicated, and labelling "bad" without looking at motives is just divisive and won't solve anything. Dangerous is a better word, this isn't a superhero movie. No thanks. We'll choose a more enlightened dojo.

I had my son enrolled in Two Dragons Karate for nearly 5 years, beginning just before he was the age of 5. Our goal when signing him up was simple: we wanted him to learn discipline. This included both self-discipline and respect, as well as the understanding of being disciplined when a bad choice was made. Of course, knowing this would provide him with physical exercise and a chance to find something he truly enjoyed was also a benefit. After 5 years, my son decided karate was no longer for him as his love for another sport really took hold that he wanted to dedicate himself. I can honestly say though, what he learned from Two Dragons Karate, in how to be committed, determined, and disciplined, exceeded our expectations and helped shape the fine young man he is becoming today! We even learned some new parenting skills ourselves that really helped out at times. Thank you Soke and Mrs. Perry for your great efforts and teachings!

We found Two Dragons Karate at a time in our life when we needed help as a family. The owner, his wife, and all the staff at Two Dragons are completely dedicated to making children's lives better. Actually not just better but exceptional. Don't we all want to live an exceptional life, not just move along in the grasp of society making mediocre choices? Mick Perry helps families make positive changes to create exceptional, productive citizens of society. Two Dragons staff are committed to teaching children discipline, respect, honesty, and great karate technique that can save lives. With the great decline in moral values in our day Two Dragons holds a high standard of core values that cannot be seen in the average business or school or household. These core values are perfectly in line with the way I want my children to learn to be. I am grateful we found Two Dragons Karate. I don't know what we would do without the help and guidance of Mick Perry. If you want your child to be confident, happy, self-assured, and able to defend him/her self I strongly recommend Two Dragons Karate in Graham, Washington.

My son is enrolled at Two Dragons Karate and the whole staff are incredibly respectful. Mr and Mrs Perry care greaofor each student and family that walk through that door. My son has focus issues and Soke has been such a help with him. I am grateful for a school that teaches my son to respect others, focus, and be a gentleman in a world that seems to be going away from those values. Each teacher is passionate about karate and helping each student become the best person they can. an investment I will continue to make in my son each year.
