We had to have my son switch gyms due to distance and training times. Silverback was the first one we checked out and we are so happy it's our only stop. My son loves the atmosphere, the dedication, and ability to be taught by this gym. Teaches confidence, self defense, respect, and inner strength. If you want a good gym? I highly suggest coming to silverback and give it a try. Everyone of these guys and gals will be high up on that ladder, but reaching down to pull you up with them. That is the makings of a great gym.

Great instructor, clean/good size space, with a welcoming team. I recommend for anyone interested in trying BJJ for the first time.

The owner of the gym and head instructor Scott Roffers welcomed me in with open arms. I have trained in BJJ prior and asked to train during an open mat session. I was provided with a loaner GI and belt to train and a smile. After training with Scott I had told several of his students that they are lucky to have such a great teacher. Scott is very knowledgeable and makes this gym a great environment to learn in. Whether you are an adult or child if you are in the area, Silverback BJJ is the place for you.

Scott is a great man he is more then a coach he has that fatherly\big brother vive to everyone. That make you comfortable being there in the learning process. Although i left because of personal reason the atmosphere he encourages is stuck in my head telling me "get back at it". And for me that impact says a lot of this great place!
