I have been a tai chi student here for at least four years and am enjoying every moment of it! The head instructor, Sifu Jeff, is great and tailors the classes according to the student's skill level. Not only that, he is very patient and encourages everybody to do their best in each class. I highly recommend this place!

Jeff is a great teacher! Great environment to learn - my coordination, balance, strength, and self-defense has greatly improved after only a few months classes. Great value as well.

I’ve been a Tai Chi student at the CKFC for 1.5 years and love it! This is an excellent, kid friendly, learning environment for both Tai Chi and Shao Lin practitioners alike. The instructors here are passionate and knowledgeable about their craft. There are no gimmicks, no year-long financial commitments, and no greedy upcharge belt systems (e.g yellow belt with green stripe, etc.). The CKFC is all about kung fu for all the right reasons. The lineage is authentic - lead instructor Jeff Nickel trained under Grandmaster Chian Ho Yin (I’ve seen video proof). If you’re interested in either Tai Chi or Northern Style Shao Lin Kung Fu, stop dragging your feet reading endless reviews and come by for a class! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. FYI - Beware of the some of the negative reviews re: CKFC. If you search the internet, you may notice the same reviewer saying disparaging things about multiple martial arts schools. "Reviewers" like that lack credibility and almost always have an ulterior motive.

Ridiculous place! The instructors Jeff and Andy don't know kung fu very well and have no good skills. They are not qualified Si Fu instructors and they haven't even achieved a black belt in the past. Their past training and lineage is totally questionable. Yet they pretend to teach. I don't recommend this place. Better stay away from a bad school like that.

This self claimed super-super-excellent school is a joke. I was there in 2002 when it opened and their self claimed super-super-excellent 'traditional' shaolin program failed to amaze me. As a matter of fact, the instructors there are not certified Shi Fu's and I have no problem to understand why many local martial artists consider this school a freak joke.
