Lakeshore ATA LLC

Our family joined Lakeshore ATA several years ago as a way for our children to develop both more physically and mentally. All of our children have grown beyond our expectations. We have 3 children in the program and each has their own level of physical coordination. Lakeshore ATA has helped them develop skills they (and we) didn't know they had; our one child that isn't so coordinated can even now do a handstand, a huge personal victory for him. All have developed expanded self-control and one child has just joined the leadership team, a great opportunity to develop his skills and grow as a person. Our daughter, who had a tough time with getting bullied her first year of middle school, is now doing much better. I think due to the way she has learned to present herself and handle situations that arise. Lakeshore ATA puts on Anti Bullying Seminars periodically throughout the year and I would HIGHLY recommend attending. We even found this to be very helpful for the parents as well. Within a month or two of our children joining Tae Kwon Do, my husband and I joined as well. It is great to do this activity as a family and I think our family is a tighter unit because of joining Lakeshore ATA. In the last year, we have all now started doing the workshops. This has taken Tkd for us to a whole new level. Two children do the XMA Class, two of our children do the Weapons Class and all 5 of us do the (Combat) Sparring Class together. There is something for all our interests. As a Mom, I love that it simply keeps me physically active and both my husband and I love having a shared activity with our children. And now a days with the increase use of tablets, gaming systems, etc, I feel this a great way to get the kids active as kids should be. Mr. David Packard has been a great friend to our family, even spending 3+ hours one night helping us to work through some behavior issues with one our children. He is a great teacher, leader and person. Our family has great respect for the Lakeshore ATA family.
