Our boys (5 and 9)started attending this school in early April. We can't say enough about Ms. Lee and all the staff at the Waukesha location!! We wanted our kids to learn focus and dedication to something. They needed to know what it really means to EARN something and not have a participation trophy handed to them. This school offers that in a constructive fun manner for the kids. We've never seen them be so focused and dedicated to any craft they've learned. They love it and we love it!!

Joined thanks to my best friend who was taekwondo for a couple years before me. I've always thought martial arts was really cool, but didn't think I'd have the opportunity to get into it myself. I joined about 5 months ago, I'm a green belt now. From day 1 as a white belt, I have felt very welcomed and at ease with everyone in the J.K. Lee community. Each instructor has their own style which keeps things interesting, and the experience has been exactly what I was hoping for when I joined! Definitely don't hold back just because you're not sure if you'll fit in. You'll enjoy it for sure, it refines both physical and mental aspects of your body.

This business can and will extort you out of your money by simply making you go into a contract that can cost you about 1800 dollars to break. The one red flag that showed up for me, as a former student of JK Lee, was how they offered to us to pay $100 to participate in an exhibition where you can show off your taekwondo skills but we don't get a single dime from performing. We were about to proceed when my sister who I will keep anonymous decided to quit. We offered to just drop my sister's subscription to the school, but they refused to do so, and they requested we pay the aforementioned amount of 1800 dollars to get rid of her subscription. tl;dr This business can make you pay huge sums of hidden fees we were never aware of. I highly suggest you steer away from this business in general, and find a better place to do karate or taekwondo.
