Great place! Friendly environment. Feels like Iâ€™m home whenever I go to class. My oldest also is in the kids class and my 4 year old will be starting the Little Griffinâ€™s Program next month. We just celebrated his 4 year birthday party at Katharo and the kids had a blast playing games and experiencing the gym. Professor Steve was very patient and actively engaged the children.

Katharo is the spot, especially for children. Our 11 year old daughter was skeptical about entering Jui-Jitsu, but we knew the long term benefits would be great for her. Steve and all of the experienced instructors couldn't make all the kids feel more comfortable and do a great job with all the different kids personalities and level of knowledge. Highly Recommend!!

I have been attending classes here for about 19 months, and still going. I love that this isn't one of those big chain academies; in contrast, Katharo Training Center creates a family-esque atmosphere and sense of community. Now 58 years old, I'm one of the oldest actively-rolling students in the academy. Both the professors and students are very accommodating to my age. I started Jiu Jitsu because I wanted to try something new and get in shape. As a former wrestler, this seemed like a good fit for me. I have accomplished all of these things, but what keeps me coming back is the people and high level of training. It's truly a privilege to train with and learn from so many wonderful people, especially at my age. I highly recommend the Center, and would love to see some more old birds in here with me.

I recently moved to Littleton and was looking to find a place to train BJJ. I had a small amount of grappling experience but nothing extensive. Admittedly, before joining Katharo, I was pretty intimidated - I knew stepping into a new gym (let alone one full of experienced grapplers) would feel that way. However, now that I've been training here for just over a month, I realize that feeling was unwarranted. Immediately from the first training session the members have been extremely welcoming. Professor Hordinski and his coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and are teaching BJJ to the newest white belts (like myself) all the way to high level competitors. If you've been looking for the right BJJ gym to join - you found it.

We love Katharo! My son and husband have been training at Katharo for five years and Iâ€™ve been involved in the K Fit fitness classes. The Jiu-Jitsu classes helped my son develop confidence, focus and a competitive edge. All the professors, coaches and instructors are professional, patient and kind. Garett and Derek, the fitness coaches, helped me lose 40 lbs, I hit a plateau, they continued to encourage me, and now I am back on track, losing weight and getting in shape. They customize and modify workouts to fit my needs and have helped me with meal planning as well. Professor Steve and his wife, Jenifer create an inclusive and warm environment, they and the other Katharo members have become part of our family. Katharo is an amazing place to learn Jiu-Jitsu, get fit and make friends!
