Sensei Thomas and Sensei Francios are both amazing instructors. My 4 yr. old son have been a part of New Vision Academy of jiu jitsu since September 2016. I joined this past September. We love the days we get to go to class. Oh I also go to boot camp class on Sunday mornings. New Vision Academy of Jiu Jitsu is an important part of my life.

My son had asked me to do Martial Arts classes for many years. I was reluctant at first because he has tried many activities and we have not had one stick. Sensei Francois and Sensei Thomas are always so patient with him and he really enjoys himself. He has never had an activity that he wanted to practice at home and taken this seriously until now. He enjoys each class. He takes one class in the Hyde Park Dojo and one in the Norwood Dojo, the flexibility has been great for me as a working parent. We originally went to just watch a course but he wanted to sign up that day after watching the younger group for a few minute. Originally he signed up for a trial membership but he quickly made up his mind that he wanted to continue. Taking Jiu Jitsu has greatly increased his self confidence and I am happy to see the small changes after each class.

I've always been interested in learning martial arts, but life got in the way. When I enrolled my 4yo son in the dojo's Little Ninja Class I also enrolled myself in the adult class. Sensei Thomas and Sensei Francois are very patient, engaging, and fun to work with in class (kids & adults). The school has two locations, one in Hyde Park and the other in Norwood. The Hyde Park dojo is very HIGH energy because of the large classes held there. My son and I prefer attending classes at the Norwood dojo and love that it's a little less hectic here. I've been a student since May 2017. In the 5 Months I've been here I have moved up a belt level and noticed a pretty good physical improvement, I'm a lot more toned and have lost some weight. I encourage you to give this class a try if you have any interest in martial arts, self defense, or simply looking for a fun way to exercise! #NVAJJ
