I’ve been coming here for several months now and am so happy that I joined. In the beginning I was kind of intimidated, but Shannon (Instructor/Owner) and the classmates are very welcoming and more than willing to help out. It takes me quite a while to get a handle on the techniques and I always have a lot of questions, but Shannon is always willing to take the time to make sure I am doing it right and never makes me feel like an idiot. The classes make you work, but the environment and the people are so motivating. I think the biggest thing I have noticed is that these classes enable me to push through my physical and mental limits; something I almost never do when I used to exercise. Anyways, thanks to this class, I am in the best shape I have ever been in AND I also have a better chance of survival in the event of a home invasion (my biggest fear). So if you want to get in better shape and make it harder for someone to murder you, i recommend you try out this place!!!

The best decision I made in 2017 was joining Nomad Krav Maga. Without a doubt, it’s the best workout I’ve had. I’ve tried plenty of other ways (lifting weights, trying every cardio machine you can think of, group classes, fitness bootcamps, hiring personal trainers) and had memberships at a few places around town. But nothing compares to the intensity of the classes here. In the year I’ve been a member I’ve lost 20 pounds and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in in over a decade. The other added benefit is learning practical self defense techniques that could save your life or the lives of loved ones. The owner, Shannon, is incredibly knowledgeable. He’s great at explaining and demonstrating different skills, he’s encouraging, and he also knows when to push you to get better. The classes aren’t easy, but you’ll love the results. No matter what your fitness level, age, or experience level with self defense/martial arts, the team at Nomad can help you reach your goals.

I found out about Krav Maga about 6 years ago. I was always too intimidated by the thought of trying it out. I didn't think I had what it takes to be part of a gym like this (5 ft, 115 lbs girl) and no MMA background. Last year, I decided to start doing things I always wanted to do. So, 11 months ago I looked up Krav Maga gyms in Vegas and I am so glad I called Nomad. Shannon was very welcoming and encouraging to show up and take the trial class. I showed up and signed up right away even though I live on the other side of town. I am SO glad I took this step. The students at the gym were very welcoming, we still are. This is the best way to stay fit and get that confidence inside of you that's waiting to come out. I travel a lot for work and I can't come to class 6 days a week, but I would if I could. Shannon and Cynthia are very supportive and the instruction is great. Shannon’s teaching will blow your mind. It is evident he has a passion for teaching as well as Krav Maga. What you learn here will change your life for the better. We have people of all ages and backgrounds (and heights haha). Don't think about it any longer like I did and waste more time. Come and join us for a class and surprise yourself about what you’re capable of achieving if you continue training, you will not regret it!

I have been coming here for almost 2 years now and it is one of the best decisions I’ve made. I am in the best shape I’ve ever been in and feel so much safer in just every day life. Shannon is a great instructor and Krav Maga is a great form of self defense

The education, motivation, and dedication from Shannon is incredible. There is no better place in town to learn krav maga. This place is incredible for beginners to fitness to anyone beyond. You will work hard, learn hard and learn how to survive.
