Awesome gym, I stop by for their open mats. It is a friendly, clean, competitive environment and very welcoming by all of their coaches and members. Always a great place to swing by for some high quality BJJ!

I have a lot of expiernce in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu having trained throughout the city and east coast for about 9 years now. The atmosphere and vibe you get from the instructors, staff and most importantly students is the most important quality to look for in joining a new gym. This academy makes you feel like you have been a student for over a year on your first day. Everyone has a smile and no one passes you bye without introducing themselves. No egos, no one trying to injure you. Everyone is there to learn get better and help the next person do the same. Do not miss the opportunity to train at this Ridgewood Queens Hidden gem. Coach Gabe in particular emphasizes what training and being part of the Jiu Jitsu community is all about. Welcoming, attentive, detailed in his teaching stern in his approach and open in his relationship to his students. The first thing I noticed was how close everyone was and that is a quality that breeds success.
