Rilion Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy- Houston is easily the highest quality Jiu Jitsu instruction in Houston. The instructors Dentinho, Romulo, Rose and Master Rilion provide the most thorough instruction I have witnessed in Texas and you can't get any closer to the source than the son (Rilion Gracie) of the founder of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, GM Carlos Gracie. We are very fortunate to have this level of instructors in Houston, let alone, the US.

This is a great place to learn. I specially recommend professor Rose for the kids class and professor Luiz for adults. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They explain every move in great detail and take their time to work with you if you are having problems.

The instruction level here is excellent and the atmosphere collegial, constructive, and welcoming. The structured fundamentals course curriculum and overall concept-driven teaching approach allows you to learn, understand, and retain detailed information that may otherwise seem overwhelming to a new student. The primary instructors are Romulo Reis and Luiz Edwardo a/k/a "Dentinho". Romulo, a four stripe black belt, is among the highest ranked and most experienced instructors in this part of the country. Dentinho, a two stripe black belt, began training as a child and has nearly 25 years of Jiu Jitsu experience. Both of these gentlemen are outstanding teachers with impressive tournament credentials and multiple championships. More importantly, they each have a very deep and intricate understanding of what makes Jiu Jitsu work. This is the real deal. If you want to learn genuine, effective, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a friendly, non-threatening, environment check this place out.

My son and I train at the Rilion Gracie Missouri academy , it is a great place to learn BJJ from the very knowable professor Romulo Reis (4th degree black belt under Master Rilion Gracie). Also the venue is great and team is very welcoming. Best place for adults and kids !!

Worst place to go unless you like commerical learning, where it is just about getting as many people in as possible to get more and more money. There are many other places to go for better Jiu Jitsu training. If you want to get ripped off, this is the place.
