Barbara always makes me look beautiful for all my most important events! I see her and her team as my favorite makeup crew. She is very professional and meticulous in her work. When required her team can handle a large group for an event. She will also travel to the house if required. I would also recommend stopping by for a makeup lesson. Her shop aslo carries high end/quality facial products and makeup. She does excellent and meticulous eyebrows waxing. I am very greatful to have a reliable and professional makeup business around the corner. I always leave Barbie feeling greatful and beautiful. I love Barbara G Cosmetics!

I'm not usually the type of person to write a negative review, but this is by far the worst experience I've ever had getting my makeup done, so I felt it was necessary. I had an engagement photo shoot set for 4:30 pm so I made an appointment here for 2:00 pm. I arrived at 1:50 pm and was told they were running only 20 minutes behind- they had a mother and a daughter for a Bat Mitzvah. Not wanting to be difficult and understanding that these things do happen, I was patient and decided to wait it out. However, I told the woman several times I needed to be out by 3:00 pm, as I did not want to be late to where I needed to be. She assured me this would not be an issue. Fast-forward to 2:20 pm and she is still not done with the other appointment. I decide to wait 10 more minutes. At 2:30 pm I tell her I need to leave because at this point it's getting too late. She convinces me to stay to just do my eyes or one part of my face. I agree and wait another 10 minutes. Finally at 2:40 pm, I take a seat. She barely gets started when the mother comes back in and says her makeup needs to be fixed. The woman stops what she's doing with me, and fixes this mother's makeup, not once, but TWICE, delaying me even further. I remind her again I need to leave by 3:00 pm. She rushes through the entire process- and even keeps me until 3:10 pm, even though I said I need to leave. At this point I am frustrated and extremely anxious. I'm not good at doing makeup on myself, so this is something that was super important to me. When I go to pay, she charges me $100.00, even though on the phone they said it would be $75.00. Yet, she tries to sell it as a deal, saying they usually charge $125.00. I am so late and defeated at this point I don't even mention the difference in price and just pay, I even still leave a tip. The makeup was nothing special at all, especially because it was rushed, and absolutely not worth that ridiculous price and hassle. I ran out of there in tears, late to my shoot and even further ruining what little makeup I had on. In my opinion, this was extremely unprofessional. I am a very reasonable person, but this was absolutely uncalled for, and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I have been going to Barbara G Cosmetics for over 15 years. Barb and Eileen have been great to work with through the years. They have gone out of their way to make Barbara G Cosmetics successful. I thoroughly enjoy when I see them every 4 weeks. Not only have they been instrumental in my beauty needs, they connect with you personally. You won't be disappointed!
