Julie is amazing!! Yes it is expensive but it is so worth it because you get what you pay for!! I've seen a friend have her eyeliner done elsewhere that was cheaper and fast. For a week after she looked like someone had punched her in the face as she looked as if she had blood bags under both eyes etc... Not so with Julie. She takes her time and does an excellent job. I did my research before initially coming to The Perfect Look for my permanent eyeliner in April 2017. I finally had my follow-up eyeliner appointment this past Friday, October 20, 2017. Originally I was to have it done in May but I've had to re-schedule twice. First time was due to my mother having a massive heart attack at the end of April and the 2nd time was due to my vehicle getting stolen from Fiesta Texas in San Antonio in July. The receptionist reschedule both times with no hassles and no fees. She was very kind and compassionate. I called to reschedule both appointments approximately a week before the appointment. Everyone in this office is very nice, polite and funny. I've enjoyed both visits here immensely and have every intention of going back and having my lips and eyebrows done. I very highly recommend The Perfect Look to everyone looking for high quality work in the permanent cosmetic field!

This is absolutely the best place to go for permanent make up or Tattoo repair. I initially came here for a repair to eyeliner botched by others, Julie's skill level is the best I've have ever seen. Her techniques are cutting edge, her coloring choices incredibly natural and most importantly I am able to return to work the same day. There is no swelling, no injections for numbing, only topical numbing agent and a very gentle hand.

Expectations exceeded. I was wowed and surprised by Julie's talent. She is a no bull straight shooter kinda woman and that's what I prefer in someone who will be applying permanent make up! She's been a pro in the field for years and I can't wait to have more services done. The office is cozy, the staff welcoming and comfortable to talk to. I will be returning again. Julie really is so talented in what she does-it takes a precision and an eye and she has both more than any one else I've seen in Austin. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my permanent cosmetics!

Far Far Far From Perfect 1) Everytime I called... the receptionist was always having multiple conversations all the while she was on the line with me...she never gave me 100% of her attention. 2) When I finally set-up an appointment...I told the receptionist I was wanting a few small scars to be tattooed-over to blend with my skin...she informed the tattoo artist Julie would charge a total of $300. 3) When I got there and struck-up a pleasant conversation with Julie, the tattoo artist, she decided then and there my procedure would require two visits and now cost $600. And this is during just a normal conversation about my life NOT about my procedure I was getting there. AND this new revelation of another added 'visit and cost' was predetermined without her even looking at my small scars I wanted tattooed-over. I'm thinking during our conversation she felt she could get more money out of me because she learned I had a college degree and I had other resurfacing procedures done to smooth out my complexion from other high dollar facilities....etc. 4) Throughout the procedure Julie leaned on me with her elbow in my chest or on my shoulder. She coughed on me several times. I couldn't stop wondering....this woman doesn't have very good bedside manners and her word isn't very truthful...so does she take the time to disinfect her tools properly from Hepatitis A, B or C or HIV? I never saw her unwrap any of her equipment...like what you see when you go to the dentist office and they pull-out clean unwrapped equipment in front of you. 5) Well needless to say I'm was NOT happy with the first appointment results. I'm thinking she did the minimum she could do to get me to come back a second time for another chance to get $300 from me. And being desperate to cover these scars I decided to go ahead and schedule a second appointment even though I dreaded it. 6) I live over an hour away and I knew I would be late to my second appointment so I called an hour before my appointment and apologized and let them know...the receptionist thanked me for calling but informed me the next time I come in they will charge me an extra $50. I asked if they would offer a one-time courtesy wave of the $50 being it required me to come back a second time and be out of pocket another $300. The receptionist told me Julie said, "NO". But quickly added, 'Julie can see you next Monday." My reply, 'No, thank you." I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone...they are unsympathetic unprofessional and will swindle you for more money by doing the minimal amount of work the first time around so you have to come back to hopefully get the job finish the next visit. Also, she smells of cigarette smoke. The photo was taken over a month after Julie supposedly did something on the first appointment. In response to the 'owners' reply: Wow! I can't believe you!!! You continue to change your post response to portray yourself as a well meaning provider. BUT we both know you never told me anything about starting off with light ink and then getting darker. Also, I never told you I was shopping on Amazon. If you don't like rescheduling or you want to charge a fee...post it! Because when I was in your business I never saw such a notice. And I can't believe that you are bragging about firing you receptionist!!! The only reason she didn't give me 100% of her attention was because YOU are such a demanding and bossy person! While I was in the chair...and you were doing the little bit that you did on my scars....you were bossing her around like a crazy person. You were yelling at her, from the room you were in with me, to her, as she was in the front room trying to answer phone calls! She was even taking care of a lot of personal things for you! Gosh!!! For you to brag about it and post it on social media tells me how uncouth, how disloyal, and how unprofessional you truly are. I will NEVER trust you enough to ever put myself in your hands ever again. I'm sure you'll end up editing your post again because you won't want the public to know the TRUE you.

Julie's an artist. She's intense, TALENTED and all about the results. She won't suck up or bs to get or keep a client. She shoots super straight. I LOVE HER. I've come to Julie for applications and a couple touch ups over 8 years now and sent several (now happy and more beautiful) friends. This is one area I won't price shop - it's my face. I want the best. I'm always elated with the results and the compliments are fun too! It's super fun to wake up, shower and head out looking great - Bless you, Julie!
