Far Far Far From Perfect
1) Everytime I called... the receptionist was always having multiple conversations all the while she was on the line with me...she never gave me 100% of her attention.
2) When I finally set-up an appointment...I told the receptionist I was wanting a few small scars to be tattooed-over to blend with my skin...she informed the tattoo artist Julie would charge a total of $300.
3) When I got there and struck-up a pleasant conversation with Julie, the tattoo artist, she decided then and there my procedure would require two visits and now cost $600. And this is during just a normal conversation about my life NOT about my procedure I was getting there. AND this new revelation of another added 'visit and cost' was predetermined without her even looking at my small scars I wanted tattooed-over.
I'm thinking during our conversation she felt she could get more money out of me because she learned I had a college degree and I had other resurfacing procedures done to smooth out my complexion from other high dollar facilities....etc.
4) Throughout the procedure Julie leaned on me with her elbow in my chest or on my shoulder. She coughed on me several times. I couldn't stop wondering....this woman doesn't have very good bedside manners and her word isn't very truthful...so does she take the time to disinfect her tools properly from Hepatitis A, B or C or HIV? I never saw her unwrap any of her equipment...like what you see when you go to the dentist office and they pull-out clean unwrapped equipment in front of you.
5) Well needless to say I'm was NOT happy with the first appointment results. I'm thinking she did the minimum she could do to get me to come back a second time for another chance to get $300 from me.
And being desperate to cover these scars I decided to go ahead and schedule a second appointment even though I dreaded it.
6) I live over an hour away and I knew I would be late to my second appointment so I called an hour before my appointment and apologized and let them know...the receptionist thanked me for calling but informed me the next time I come in they will charge me an extra $50. I asked if they would offer a one-time courtesy wave of the $50 being it required me to come back a second time and be out of pocket another $300. The receptionist told me Julie said, "NO". But quickly added, 'Julie can see you next Monday."
My reply, 'No, thank you."
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone...they are unsympathetic unprofessional and will swindle you for more money by doing the minimal amount of work the first time around so you have to come back to hopefully get the job finish the next visit. Also, she smells of cigarette smoke.
The photo was taken over a month after Julie supposedly did something on the first appointment.
In response to the 'owners' reply:
Wow! I can't believe you!!!
You continue to change your post response to portray yourself as a well meaning provider.
BUT we both know you never told me anything about starting off with light ink and then getting darker. Also, I never told you I was shopping on Amazon. If you don't like rescheduling or you want to charge a fee...post it!
Because when I was in your business I never saw such a notice.
And I can't believe that you are bragging about firing you receptionist!!! The only reason she didn't give me 100% of her attention was because YOU are such a demanding and bossy person!
While I was in the chair...and you were doing the little bit that you did on my scars....you were bossing her around like a crazy person. You were yelling at her, from the room you were in with me, to her, as she was in the front room trying to answer phone calls!
She was even taking care of a lot of personal things for you!
Gosh!!! For you to brag about it and post it on social media tells me how uncouth, how disloyal, and how unprofessional you truly are.
I will NEVER trust you enough to ever put myself in your hands ever again.
I'm sure you'll end up editing your post again because you won't want the public to know the TRUE you.
