It's really important for a child to have a great foundation. Since moving back from the Inland Empire and now living in the south bay area I can't imagine my daughter being in a better more environment. The school staff is amazing. From the front office to the classrooms. Like with any school there's people that have left over the years that have made to school special, but the core group staff there right now is beyond amazing. I'm very proud of the schools values as well. My favorite teacher personally on staff is Mrs. Dolly💎!!! If you're looking for a great environment to have your child in, this should be one you really consider.

We love this school. My youngest started preschool here. This school is where I feel that my kids are left in loving and caring hands. My eldest has now moved on to high school and on his days off from school he wants to go spend it at this school(what high schooler does that). We tried public school for a couple of years and that didn't work out very well. My son was struggling(failing) and couldn't get him help in the Torrance district. With the smaller class sizes the teachers have more time for your child. He now is in high school with A's and B's.

My son has been coming to Harbor Church School since preschool and is now in 4th grade .. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about it .. All the staff are loving , caring people who love the Lord ..my son would never feel loved or get the attention he gets in a public school setting .. Smaller class sizes allows for lots of close interactions between teachers and pupil . As one who had some reservations about sending a child to private school , upon hearing my little guy singing praise songs in the back seat of the car when he was four ( that we don’t sing in our church ) I was SOLD !!!!!

The Harbor Church has been an absolute blessing for our family. From the moment we walked through the doors before my daughter entered 1st grade we knew it was God's plan for us to partner with this school for our daughter's education and development. Academics were important to my husband and I, as I have my Doctorate degree, and we want our daughter to do well in this area, but more important to us was the character she was going to develop... who she was going to become. My daughter is now ending her 7th grade year and she has become such a beautiful young lady. Every teacher she has had, including our principal, contributed to this. They love the Lord and they don't just talk it they live it. They give grace but hold our children to high expectations. They teach them how to love and embrace our differences. They are helping create "Kingdom Builders." I will be devastated when she transitions from this school to high school because I truly love it here. My best advice is don't judge a book by it's cover. This school may not have all the bells and whistles on the outside but the treasures are there when you open the box.
