I have never experienced a school that truly wanted the best for their students. Mrs. Johnson and facility do their best to meet student needs above and beyond educational goals. They are not only exceptional concerning academics, but realize kids have other stressors happening in life that could affect their ability to learn or concentrate in the classroom. Sonshine Christian Academy is able to become aware of these concerns and help students with support of staff so the student can progress academically in a supportive environment. I trust this school with my children daily and know they are getting the support they need spiritually, academically, and emotionally.

The faculty know and care about these students. I have been impressed with how they handle my son and other children in this school. They put Christ at the forefront of their curriculum, giving my son a firm foundation in Christ.

I am so thankful for this school and the teachers that pour into my children everyday. It makes my mommy heart happy to hear them say they love their friends and teachers. Every teacher seems to know theirs names and genuinely care for them both. The principal, Mrs. Johnson, is the sweetest and most caring principal I've seen. She is outside everyday during pick up and drop off, making sure each child makes it in and out safely. She is on top of everything and it makes me as a parent feel peace that my children are very well taken care of throughout the day. Thank you to everyone that works hard to make such a beautiful environment for the kids.

For a Christian academy they show very poor attitude in handling situations. The faculty and staff know damn well that suspending a four year old is unlawful. His mother didn't even do anything wrong for it to happen. I personally believe if your a supposed "Christian Academy" shouldn't the faculty and staff show there Christian backgrounds and forgive the mother and apologize to the family. The kid is only four, and your punishing him for some comment on Facebook. Ridiculous. And for the person who printed out the comment to show it to the school, that is ignorance at it's best. If your children attend here, I highly suggest moving them to another school.

People should avoid this school at all cost. They don't value there students what so ever they just want to keep an image of there school perfect. Just because a mother commented her opinion on here private Facebook they expelled your 4 year old son. I hope who ever took that decision falls. Lear how to handle situations better I have seen many parents complain about there schools and never seen any school do this. Sonshine Christian Academy is not Christian more like the Devil has sneaked into the school and is bringing it down.
