Mackenzie is very professional and educated. Her facilities are super clean. I felt very comfortable with her from the start. I was so hesitant about microblading and I might have stalked her social media for months before I finally decided to have it done🤷🏼‍♀️. Seriously the best decision ever! I absolutely love my brows and I will recommend everyone to her.

I've been seeing Mackenzie going on 8months. She has been both personable and professional since the first time I sat in her chair. I feel comfortable and as if I'm hanging out with one of my friends when I'm having my lashes filled by her. She does phenomenal work and is affordable! The atmosphere of her shop is incredibly relaxing and I look forward to every appointment with her! - A. Rich

I used to HIGHLY recommend, Mackenzie, at Mac Rae Permanent Cosmetics. I did leave a very gratifying, detailed 5 star review- after my first appointment with her, about how great I thought she was, & how great her work is. Well.. that has most certainly changed. To explain on the matter. I was rescheduled on my follow up- no big deal, I understand things happen as a customer. Got the 2nd touch up, & I really did love it- she had told me, it was her favorite brows she'd ever done at that point. A couple months pass, I was reading by other microblading artists saying, that a 3rd pass is sometimes necessary for people with oily skin. On January 22nd, I messaged her & asked for an appointment in April, because she was almost done booking in March. Cool, no problem, got scheduled. -I had a $50 off coupon for leaving my previous stellar Google review, because her Facebook page was offering that for clients that had been previously seen by her. While waiting for that April 14th appointment, she texted & messaged me 3x times in that time, if I'd like to come in earlier, than my appointment time.. I work somewhere- that I can't just ask off the day of, also another reason I made an appointment out so far in advance- to make sure I'd be able to get off. Then, she calls me, & asked if we could move my appointment day, to the 16th, bc she was going out of town. That was a little frustrating, just bc I was approved off for the 14th, luckily for myself I was able to get the 16th off. Let's get to April 15th, & she texts me, asking me to confirm my appointment the next day- also changing the time by 30 mins, not telling me till then. The excuse was that her flight didn't get in till 9.. well why did she schedule me at 10, knowing she was coming back from a flight that morning? This is where is gets incredibly beyond frustrating- as a person with limited free time, she texts me at 4am (on the 16th). I'm assuming that, she was thinking I wouldn't be awake- but I was awake due to excitement to get my brows done again, yay! She texts & tells me that, "Hey, I know you’re going to hate this but I’ve been running a high fever for the last 24 hours and feel absolutely horrible. I’ve never done this but I think I should reschedule you. I would try to pull through and just wear a mask but I’ve been up so far all night just weak and shaking." Okay, 1st thought- why wasn't that appointment canceled yesterday, when she texted me with that fever then? 2nd thought, I could have gone to work, if she'd been honest- so I lost out on money there, because Mackenzie couldn't & wouldn't cancel earlier, and try to make it right by rescheduling. 3rd thought- why would I want my face to be compromised by someone working on me ill, bc she WAS just going to wear a mask.. Like who does their best work when they're sick like that(shaking & running a high fever)? No one that's who, & the fact that she would've done that, says a lot about her character as a cosmetic artist- that she doesn't care if she's sick around as well as, working on her clients. Finally, that's the 4th time she's canceled or moved my appointment. I let her know I was extremely disappointed about that, & then asked when's the soonest, that she could get me in? She responded "Saturday the 21st", but after that text she never got back to me.. That was the absolute last straw, in wanting anything to do with Mac Rae Permanent Cosmetics. I will never pay ANYONE, to treat me like garbage. I'm not sure if it's just because she has so many other clients, local tv famous, didn't wanna redeem the $50 off coupon, she didn't care, or she just plain forgot. Either way, I will never be returning to her, & everyone I recommend her to, will be unrecommended told & shown exactly why. She does do great eyebrows, but at what price for your time, are you willing to spend? I found another artist in Conway, I will not associate her name with such a negative review, but just look up microblading in Arkansas. No amount of talent, is worth treating your clientele like their time doesn't matter. Utterly disappointing.

Really enjoyed my experience at Mack Rae! Mackenzie is very professional and made me feel relaxed. I drove in from OKC because I liked Mackenzie's work on previous clients. She listened to what I was wanting done and took her time with the stencil to make sure it was perfect. Love Love Love my new eyebrows and can't believe I didn't have them done sooner.
