Having been diagnosed with the BRCA gene my oncologist recommend that I have all reproductive organs removed. Since my children are grown having my tubes and ovaries removed was an easy decision. Having a double mastectomy took me two years and a lot of stress. My oncologist, Dr. Paul Coluzzi, refered me to Dr. Tseng (plastics) and Dr. Dinome (cancer). I was comfortable with them the minute I met them. I interviewed several other surgeons and none were as open and warm as this team. I live in Orange County and the drive to Santa Monica is always 2 hours+ but, well worth it. Dr. Dinome was so kind and I was truly relieved when she told me that my pathology report was negative. I would recommend her to anyone that has the terrible news they have cancer. Dr. Tseng is truly an skilled surgeon and artist! I had the flap surgery that took fat from my abdomen and Dr. Tseng rebuilt my breasts using that fat. It took 10 hours. What he accomplished is really a miracle. My breasts are the same size they were before only better! And, I got a tummy tuck out of the process. Can not tell I am a mother. Dr. Tseng was so caring. I ended up with a blood clot in my calf after I had returned home. Because I live so far he asked me to go to my PC, who sent me to Hoag hospital. Dr. Tseng txt'd me consistently over a 3 hour period, from 10pm to midnight, until I had a diagnosis and he was able to speak to the ER doctor. Truly caring. I highly recommend Dr. Tseng and the flap surgery. Thank you Dr. Tseng! Susen Boice

I had a bilateral mastectomy in June 2017 and have been under the care of Dr. Charles Tseng for my reconstruction. I could not be happier with the care that Dr. Tseng and the rest of his team at UCLA Santa Monica Breast Center have provided. The treatment provided is nothing short of world-class. Dr. Tseng is an especially caring, considerate and attentive reconstructive expert who is steeped in knowledge regarding the most up-to-date reconstructive techniques along with their benefits and appropriateness for each individual case. Dr. Tseng is absolutely devoted to delivering the best care and achieving the best possible result for the patient. I am grateful to him and the rest of his team and am fortunate to have been able to have this invaluable resource available to me during this difficult time.

Dr. Tseng performed a tummy tuck and breast reduction for me. And I am extremely happy with the results. When I went to his office for the pre-op, I was very nervous regarding the surgery. Dr. Tseng explained everything thoroughly and put me totally at ease. I never felt rushed and all questions were answered to my satisfaction. Dr. Tseng is very conscientious with a great bedside manner. Dr. Tseng’s office personnel are top notch and friendly. Also, Dr. Tseng performed my procedures in the Surgery Center that is next door to his office. Everybody associated with the Surgery Center was fabulous. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tseng to anyone that is thinking of a tummy tuck or a breast reduction. Thank you, Judy B.
