I had liposuction, abdomen and flanks, in September. I’m very confused by the negative reviews because i had an excellent experience. ALL OF MY STOMACH FAT IS GONE! No infection, no burns...just 4 dark spots where incisions were made. He was talking me through the procedure and made me feel comfortable. It does take a while to fully heal...my stomach is still numb in some areas but gets better every month. I just have one concern and that is i feel he did not take any or enough fat out of my flanks and I will reach out to him once i reach the 6 month mark. I do believe some women do not follow post operative instructions and become infected and burned by not taking antibiotics, using heating pads and hygiene.

He's an Eye Dr. performing liposuction and giving botox shots. See 7 On Your Side News Story. He is a surgeon, so legally he can perform foot surgery, heart surgery - any surgery, but he isn't a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He didn't use anesthesia. He burned my skin and flesh and told me I was fine. I was hospitalized with an infection and he said it was my fault. Then I starting digging up the suppressed reviews on Yelp, Google and Real Self. This has been going on for 10 years or more, and he has no consequence because the contract says you can't sue and you have to go to arbitration, and if he gives a refund - that's your settlement. I was deformed from liposuction- not in a 3rd world country- in Washington DC, and he has an office in Mclean. The bad reviews get suppressed as soon as they are posted. Do you research - this is my reality - I am thankful I am alive. Please call the DC Board of Medicine if you've got a complaint. He will smile in your face an perform surgery with no anesthesia an call you sweetie as you scream @@!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was referred by a coworker. I am now over a post-surgery and I have been complaining about the same areas that I was told to not worry about and that would heal on their own. Due to me being unsure and extremely pissed at my results I have not made a payment. I am told in office by the surgeon that he will fix it and when I leave and email I am told that I would have to make a payment. I got a second opinion and this surgeon stated that my procedure was poorly done and I should have it redone but he will not touch another surgeons work. My back is uneven, my stomach has lumps. The surgeon says that it has been "driving him crazy" since I sent email with pictures of the lumpy stomach and uneven back. He said it was weight gain but I lost more than what I was prior to surgery and it is still lumpy and uneven. He won't fix it and I don't want to spend another dime for a procedure that was done incorrectly the first time.

First let me say that when getting a cosmetic procedure done, you have to follow directions for recovery after you go home. I have had 3 lipo procedures done on 3 different areas and I cannot be more satisfied with my results. As long as Dr. Araya is working, I will continue to go to him and get my work done if need be. He is exceptiona;l and his staff are magnificant. I love the atmosphere and everyone if so respectful and kind.

Vita surgical is a fantastic surgical center Dr. araya at vita surgical is a fantastic cosmetic surgeon. Several friends and family have had amazing results from his procedures. Not only is he an excellent doctor he has a kind heart and very funny . He has helped raise money for local schools so that scholarships can be given to low income students. Good heart, fantastic doctor and dear friend. He has never made mention or sought out publicity for his work in African orphanages. He lives a normal life. That speaks volumes about his character.
