I had eyebrow lifts a year ago. With the incisions above my eyebrows, I healed quickly and I cannot detect any scarring at all. My friends often comment on his beautiful results. Dr. Cho is very personable and explained to me in detail what to expect and how long recovery would be. His assistants and office staff are exceptional, too. I was at first hesitant but they put me at ease and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Cho reconstructed my daughter’s cleft lip that was wider than normal, which made her nose collapse. He did a wonderful job making her nose symmetrical and making her lip so natural looking. 100% recommending Dr. Cho!

By the time I had my consultation with Dr. David Cho of Straub Plastic Surgery, I was on a wound vac for about six weeks. Consultation with Dr. Cho was for a skin graft procedure. After examining the wound, he concluded that the procedure was not a viable option due to the wound’s depth and size. This meant the possibility of having the wound vac attached to me for an additional eight weeks! Seeing my facial expression, or lack thereof, he continued to exam the wound. Eventually, he proposed the yin-yang flap procedure. Initially this procedure was not an option; because it is a HIP wound, movement may impede the healing process, e.g., cause an infection and/or separation of incision. After explaining the pros and cons - mostly the cons - we decided to proceed with the procedure. Although Dr. Cho has done several skin flap procedures, I understand that this was his first HIP yin-yang flap. Monday, 10/23/17, was my one-month post-op exam…Dr. Cho said that I am healing well and that I can resume my daily activities, which includes walking and working out at the YMCA! This was the BESTEST news that I got since this ordeal began on 07/06/17, the day I had my right hip replaced. Since that date, I had three additional surgeries (by another physician to address a hematoma that developed on the site, an infection (due to the pseudomonas bacteria) that also developed on the site, and lastly, a yin-yang flap procedure to close the wound due to the infection). Dr. Cho is very upfront and he tells-it-like-it-is, i.e., limit activities and movement or healing may take longer or worse (back on the wound vac for eight more weeks). I like his type. I am extremely grateful and thankful that he proposed and executed successfully the yin-yang flap procedure. Oh, and let’s not forget his staff: nurses, Lorna and Tessie, are supportive, encouraging, and calming - both answered all of my tedious questions; and office staff, Nina and Charlene, who are patient, considerate, and respectful.

Dr. Cho is a great surgeon. He removed an object lodged in the bottom of my foot which required making an incision, removing the object, and stitching the incision. His staff is friendly and very professional.
